My family and I have been going here since the late 1980s… probably before that too. All I know is that nobody can make a granita the way Zammutos does! The unusual with Lemon ice cream on top of a granita is beyond delicious! I look forward to next visit here!

This place was recommended to us and we really enjoyed it. My daughters got ice cream and French fries and I tried their famous chicken wings which were so meaty I couldn’t finish the 8 I got. They made excellent leftovers! We would 1,000% go back next time we are in Rockford!

Outside tables only, one of Rockford’s favorite neighborhood places. Super refreshing on a hot day, food is as good as it gets, generations have been enjoying it for 100 years. Quick service, kiosk only, always print your receipt with customer number, or you will be gently scolded. My favorite is the lemon/cherry granita. Cash accepted.
