This was a planned food break on our trip to Ohiopyle. This is a great little local place with home cooking and pie. Seriously good homemade pie
Quaint little country restaurant with wonderful decor to match. Be careful not to drive too fast or you will miss it. Extremely friendly staff that made you feel at home. My wife got the Tuna Melt and I got the Meatball Hoagie (with Provolone). I finished it off with a Blueberry pie – yummmmm!
Made a great little roadside break for us and will be back on the return trip

Outstanding pies. We took them warm, for the road. We had strawberry rhubarb – the best one I have ever tasted, peach berry and three berries (that one tasted a bit like a French myrtille tarte!).

Excellent little diner. Simple yet tasty. Turkey dinner was delicious. Beef in beef dinner could have used a little bit of seasoning but other than that the meat was juicy and tender. Don’t forget the pies. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

We came for dinner and loved the homey vibe of the restaurant. It’s cozy and the staff are so friendly. The country fried steak with gravy as delicious and crispy. The butter pecan ice cream was good too.

Everything was great. My boy likes strawberry milk. He gets to hyper with chocolate anything. I asked the waitress if they had strawberry milk and she said no we don’t,but she mixed him up a glass from their ice-cream shop toppings. He loved it! Thank you very much.

We stopped on way home from Falling Waters and boy we’re so happy we did! Comfortable atmosphere. Wonderful server and staff. Food was homemade, delicious, and exactly what we were looking for. Very reasonably priced. We are not locals. Just passing through on way back to NJ. Wish we weren’t so far away or this would DEFINITELY be our “go-to” place! What a gem nestled in a beautiful countryside with sweet down to earth staff and locals. Hats off! We’ll remember you if we’re ever back that way again!

My family stopped here for lunch while in the area. The tuna melt was amazing. The service was so good we came back the same day after a dance recital for dessert. This is a must stop you won’t be disappointed.
