This year our family gathered (made reservations) at Zambistro for Thanksgiving. There were 10 adults and 7 kids. When we entered the table was all ready and prepared. We were attended to promptly by a very lovely person who said she’d be taking care of us, and she did a wonderful job. I’ll be honest, it’s a little daunting looking at the prices on the menu. Everything is so expensive these days. However, Chef Josh has put together such an amazing menu that I always leave feeling like it was well worth the price..a VALUE even. I ordered one of the specials, sea bass. Let me tell you, I felt like I was eating one of the finest meals anywhere. The blend of flavors and preparation was so well thought out and executed. I felt pampered. Everything from the staff, the decor, the lighting, the table settings, linen napkins, and especially the food felt like comforting elegance. Zambistro has worked hard over the years to create a high end dining experience and they just keep outdoing themselves. I remember over 20 years (give or take) ago dining there versus now. Well done, Zambistro, and thank you for providing a night to remember for our family!

Passing through the area during lunch. My first choice wasn’t open but I found Zambistro across the street.
Very clean and welcoming decor with friendly staff. I was quickly seated in a warm (it was <20 and sleeting outside) dining room with lots of natural light.
The menu offered a lot of delicious choices, it was a tough pick. I ordered a great French dip, although with a local weck roll for additional flavor. It came with a nice creamy horseradish sauce as well as the au jus (another nod to the locally famous sandwich) . I upgraded the included fries to a super delicious WARM potato salad. heavenly!
Really good experience & I highly recommend Zambistro. I hope to eat there again!

A culinary gem: food is superb, service top-notch, super friendly staff. The decor is tasteful and casual, the attentive staff exude small-town warmth and the entrees are meticulously crafted and absolutely delicious. On a recent visit I ordered baked salmon served with roasted asparagus on a bed of sweet corn risotto, and it was so good! Each item complemented the other to create a symphony of flavor.
To truly savor one’s experience here, a good bottle of wine is essential. Their red wine list is expertly curated. The moderately priced labels I ordered on separate visits were each silky and delightful. If Zambistro was located in a big city, you’d need to make a reservation at least a month in advance to get a table. It’s that fine of a restaurant.

5 stars across the board for Zambistro restaurant! The food, cocktails, and service were all top of the line. I went in for lunch with a reservation. The space is very chic, I love the black and white throughout. Nice and quiet atmosphere to have a conversation in. The meatballs were especially amazing along with the calamari. Sorbet for dessert was a great finale. I will definitely be returning to try dinner here! I really enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Parking is available along the street and was easy to find a space.

We held our recent Vistage meeting in Zambistro’s Bar Room and left thoroughly impressed — great venue, great service, great food. The private room faces the street, giving you a charming look at Medina’s historic architecture and creating a welcoming, slightly civic backdrop for a full-day session. The room comfortably accommodated our group of roughly 25 (speaker and director included) with flexible seating that kept the day productive and relaxed.
Zambistro’s staff were highly accommodating: they catered both breakfast and lunch (both of which were enjoyed by everyone), and when we needed AV support they brought in a TV and configured the space so our presenter could run the session smoothly. The bar room itself flows into a well-appointed bar area, and the venue appears to host live music and regular events — great if you want to combine business with an evening out. Other practical amenities that stood out were attentive service and thoughtful room setup (plenty of table space for notes/laptops and easy circulation), which made logistics simple for a large meeting.
Highly recommend Zambistro’s for meetings, small conferences, or a casual night out. I’m looking forward to coming back with my wife to try dinner and experience one of their live music nights — curious to sample the full menu beyond our catered selections. A terrific option in a very charming town.

This is a very good restaurant. The Cuban sandwich is extremely delicious. I got it with a side of hot potato salad. The service by Lydia on the rooftop seating was very good. She was very attentive and seemed happy to have you as a customer. My wife had the meatball appetizer as her meal, and it was big enough to be her meal. The table service was quick and correct. This is a big restaurant with multiple dining rooms. It has a lower patio too.

This is such an inspired restaurant! The service is always phenomenal with friendly and attentive wait staff. The menu is amazing, always have a difficult time choosing what to eat because everything looks wonderful. Had the duck dish tonight and it was absolutely amazing. I’ve never been disappointed here from the French onion soup to the lemon drop martinis to the lobster pasta everything is incredible.

Excellent experience! The food was delicious! The peanut butter dessert was one of the best we have had. A very good experience. Service received a 4/5 as we waited a while before our waiter checked on us after we were seated, but overall he was very good. Would recommend for sure and we will be back !

Where has this place been hiding! We come to this area every year for our annual fishing trip. We decided to try this restaurant and oh my goodness! The staff, the service and the food all top notch. Everyone had a fantastic meal from the apps to the salad, entree (most ordered the filet except for me), and dessert. The most exceptional part is I have a dairy allergy. The waitress checked with the chef and they said everything is made to order and could augment a lot for me from the menu. I decided give it a try! I went with the seafood risotto which usually has all the butter and cheese. Other restaurants typical response in the past is “we can’t do that”. This place didn’t skip a beat and delivered. It was so good! I got to experience a seafood meal with no dairy that was exceptional and not lacking in anything at all. The shrimp were grilled to perfection and seasoned the best I’ve ever had. The octopus and scallops were tenderly cooked and the clams were tasty. Thank you for such an exceptional dining experience I won’t forget. We will be back every year!!
