Food products are decent but they don’t label carbs or sugar content on the actual items. They write it on a friggin sign on the shelf so you have to go and hunt for carb content on each item. If you’re a diabetic you know how important having carb and sugar content on the food item is because you can’t memorize all foods. Really stupid decision on their part .. it’s like you ask them how many carbs in the pizza and someone tells you and points to a sign like you have to take their word for it. Stupid. Stop being lazy and label your stuff.

Very good food a little bit pricey but by all means very worth it. Great place to treat yourself when you need an uplifting. Staff are very knowledgeable about the food they serve and the owner has a very caring and motherly personality that is to die for. I love this place

We went here for the first time a month or two ago and enjoyed it. Was a recommendation from a number of people. It is definitely a mom/pop type of deli, where you order your food, sit down and they bring it to you. The twist here is that its all low in carbs. Food was pretty good, large salads were large-ish. I wouldn’t say I was filled up to capacity, but its a nice salad and not overly expensive. Would say that it fills the desire for a good, somewhat healthy quick bite to eat.

We’ve tried a few different items from Zambetti’s and we’ve enjoyed the food – wraps, salads, soups, the pizzas, cookies. Everything seems fresh and of good quality, and it’s all been tasty. However, I have a few issues with the place, too.

The packaging on most of their prepared foods lists the ingredients (the cookies and muffins being noted exceptions), but not the nutritional content. That’s a problem when its whole basis is low carb / diet friendly / healthy eating. Having spent plenty of time browsing health food stores like Back to Earth and A Matter of Health has also made me even more skeptical regarding some of Zambetti’s nutritional claims, like the 130 calorie pizza. I’ve yet to see anything like that anywhere else, and I don’t believe it’s because Zambetti’s discovered some low calorie miracle food.

Product availability is an issue, too. I stop in there on occasion to pick up some of their cookies – mysterious, unlabeled, but really good. Lately it’s one or two baskets out of the less popular flavors, it seems, and no one knows for sure when the other varieties will be available. “We make one or two things per day, as we need them” was the answer I got once. Well, you’re out. You need them. “We should have them Monday afternoon, maybe Tuesday” was the answer another time, until I stopped in on Tuesday. Then the answer became “maybe next week”. Meanwhile, with all the secrecy surrounding the product, it’s not even really a “Zambetti’s” product. The closely guarded secret isn’t a proprietary recipe, it’s where they purchase the batter from. And the nutritional content, of course.

It’s disappointing because I feel like their food is high quality, tasty and probably healthy, but I don’t like the secrecy, being led on, or lied to.

I’ve always been a huge fan of this store but recent price increases have me reconsidering my loyalty. I understand the costs of goods increases but some items have almost gone up 50% and offerings are much more limited under this new ownership.

This place has been a lifesaver for me. I’ve been on a low carb diet for a year now for health reasons. The pizza is some of the best I’ve had in Rockland and the staff are helpful and always informative. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

I paid with my credit card today. After waiting 30 minutes of waiting, the waitress told me she lost my order. And I asked for a refund which they initially refused and after a few minutes of going back and forth they gave me a partial refund. The customer service and professionalism of this place is terrible. I would not suggest this place at all.

They ate my the same since the tale over. The cookies are chewy. They were crispy. The baked goods ate not great anymore. We need the old zambetti”s back. Remember we need points on the foods.
