The rolls were good but wet and thick. Lots of sauce on the Mike B.B. Sunshine was really good but it was thick, loved the lemon. Hot green tea, TV’s and the Oyster shooters! Grab it, shoot and swallow. Little fire on the back end which was different in a good way.

I’m on vacation with the family. Pack your bags, I’m going to take you on a rant. A lot of the time fast food is the easiest option. We did not want everything we ate to be fast food. With that said, sushi is always a fresh option.
Zakuro is one of the best sushi places that i have come across in California. Literally. We’ve have been all over California. The creativity and flavors they produce are exceptional and inexpensive.
(Both rolls i ordered were deep fried. So much for being healthy lol)

AMAZING SUSHI 1000/10!! We have been trying new sushi spots in the Lincoln/roseville area and came across this spot. Atmosphere is really cozy. The service is so quick and very hospitable. We sat at the sushi bar and had the best experience. The sushi shef even gave us complimentary nigiri to try and it was amazing. All the rolls were so delicious and fresh. We tried a few different and all were so unique and yummy. Also the prices are great! Excited to come back soon!

It was a very unique and an elite experience. The place the ambiance food service everything was slick. The food was unbelievably delicious. I had zakuro spaghetti. The light cream sauce in which the seafood and el Dante udon noodles was served in a well presented manner made my weekend special. Highly recommend for a date night or any special event night if you would like a slick and elite experience . Food be it salad or entree or shooter was done with great care. The chef meets the guests he did look like lawyer Vince who is trending on fb reels now. Five star experience.

Starting with the appetizer. Calamari Steak, super Light Tempura with Fresh Calamari Steaks and Hot ( Fresh). Not Chewy…not little peices. CALAMARI STEAK! Beautifully done! Zakuro Roll with the peanut sauce. Best item on the menu. Sunshine was also Delicious! Service was 10/10 Super Friendly and Fun. My wife and I had a Great evening! We like to try new things locally and this is a must go back to and explore what else they have. Price was on point. I was completely satisfied leaving this evening. Cheers

I have reviewed before and gave it a 5 star excellent review. However, on my 2nd attempt (today), I waited in the doorway for ~15 minutes before the blonde gal (hostess?) even looked up. I asked for a seat for 2 and she said sure, then disappeared for another 15 minutes. A different lady asked if i had been helped, then told me to stand “over there.” I left. Terrible.

Zakuro is a wonderful place to have really good fresh sushi. I visit zakuro frequently and are always welcomed with smile and excellent service.
I think best sushi in Sacramento area. Service is amazing. Sushi is fresh and the rolls are to die for.
I am surprised by any negative reviews, but especially the harsh one. I am telling you this restaurant is a gem. I have been going to zakuro since I moved to Lincoln 3 years ago and it’s just gets better and better.
I could give zakuro nothing less than five stars it deserves.

First time stopped here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Both had the lunch combos. The salmon (teriyaki) was the best I’ve had since we moved to CA three years ago. Everything was delicious. Will definitely be back.
