If you want a hole in the wall experience this is truly the place to go. You aren’t overwhelmed by the amount of menu items, which is great because you have the best options to chooses from. The spices and ingredients was a new taste that I’ve been missing. I know it can be intimidating going to a new place, but the workers here are so nice and can help you find the right dish for you. The quantity is quite large, so there’s plenty to share or bring home for leftovers. Don’t forget to order their popular tea. I got to see how they made it and the amount of work to make it is insane! This is my new cozy drink. I’m looking forward to coming back to try their other dishes.

Our 1st time there, we went with our kids and the food did not disappoint! It was packed with flavor and freshness. The chicken tenders were big and juicy, we also got chapati wrap yummy goodness like mom’s cooking! Spaghetti for little ones and basically there was a dish for every age at the table.

Okay, so I stopped by this place in SeaTac – 15035 Military Rd S – and it was a surprisingly good find! Seems like they’ve got a solid following, especially for Somali halal food and some seriously tasty Philly cheesesteaks. I had the cheesesteak and it was really rich and flavorful, unlike anything I’ve had before. The portions were generous for the price. Parking was a bit of a squeeze, and it’s uphill, so be aware when parking. They also have a grocery store connected, which is handy—the restrooms are there too. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

Okay, so I stopped by this deli in SeaTac – 15035 Military Rd S – and it was pretty busy, definitely a local spot! I got a Philly cheesesteak and it was seriously flavorful, a good change from what I’m used to. The portion was huge for the price, which was great. Parking was tight, so be prepared to wait a bit. They have a small grocery attached, which was handy. The only thing I’d say is maybe a little more signage directing you to the restrooms – they’re in the grocery store. Overall, a solid find!

Okay, so I checked out that halal deli on North 4th Street in San Jose – it was pretty busy when I went, definitely a local favorite. The portions were generous for the price, I got the chicken gyro and it was really flavorful, especially the marinade. Parking was a bit of a squeeze, and it’s uphill so be prepared! They had a small grocery section connected which was handy. Maybe next time I’ll grab some pita bread to mop up all the sauce – it was *that* good.

As soon as we came yo Seattle this halal spot was on our list. And it was worth it. They have a nice small menu but it has all the variety it needs. The guy who took the order was very nice and patient. He helped us providing options with our selection. We ordered the lamb and beef gyro and also the chicken gyro. It was a nice size for a meal. It was freshly made. Loved the spice they marinated the chicken with. The veggies were good too. We were unaware that it came fries. The price seemed reasonable too. A must if you visit here. We also ordered chicken steak. However, they did not have rice but had noodles which I was uninterested in. So he swapped it out with salad and pita bread. They give 2 big size steak. The salad was good too. I did both like the fries that cane with the steak. Gave a mushy texture. All in all a very healthy meal I must say. I also lived the spice that the chicken was marinated in. A must try also.
I did not like the dumpster next to the parking. Very dirty and full. Parking was not hard to find but it is packed so there might be waiting during peak ours. Also the Deli is located in an uphill area so please be mind full when you are parking.
I did not see any restrooms. They have a nice grocery which has a common door with the deli. Restrooms are available there.
Nevertheless do come here if you visit the area.

Zain Restaurant & Bakery Cafe is an absolute gem in SeaTac! The tender goat meat with fragrant spiced rice, juicy chicken kebabs, and fluffy pastries like baklava are bursting with authentic Somali flavors—all halal and incredibly fresh. Pair it with their rich Somali tea or coffee for the perfect touch. Cozy vibe, generous portions, and super friendly service make it feel like home. A must-visit for anyone craving real East African cuisine!
