I can only guess there’s been a personal change, because it used to be very good.
We ate in and service was terrible. Food was luke warm. Seemed to me the takeaways and pickups get priority over diner’s. 40 minute wait between a round of pompadoms and main meals.
In all honesty, service was not unlike a faulty towers sketch. Other diner’s had issues, so I’m not alone here. Maybe taking on too much for the staff they had.
I’ll be leaving it for a good while, hoping things improve.

Worst takeaway we’ve had – food arrived 2 hours after ordering despite being provided with inaccurate ETAs multiple times. Nobody answered the phone for extremely long periods when we tried calling for an update. Food was stone cold and inedible by the time it was delivered, which was over half an hour after we were told that the driver had left for the 10 minute journey. Requested some form of refund and were flatly told that the owner ‘said the food was up to standard’. Absolutely no customer service whatsoever, just to add to the disappointing food and unacceptable wait.

Having had a lovely meal here previously, we were looking forward to eating here again.
We waited over an hour for our food to be served. The staff were very apologetic about the delay.
When our meal arrived, my husband’s was missing the curry sauce that should have accompanied it. He was halfway through before it arrived. It was also missing the lamb it should have contained, although he could taste it!
What a disappointment.

friendly people but probably the worse take away i ever had. soggy onion bhaji stodgey Naan and tasteless masala. the popadoms had a very strange taste as too did the rice, not sure what that was supposed to be be it wasnt a pilua. sorry zaika I’m never ever ordering again. I would advise picking something up from the Coop instead !

We’ve been eating here for years, Mumbai and now Zaika but the family meal we had last night , was the best ever , every course was packed with so many different flavours , it was plentiful and hot .

Food gorgeous but seriously, just 2 small potatoes in the Bombay Aloo?? This dish costs roughly £4.00 so to receive basically a tray of sauce with 2 potatoes is very disappointing and a rip off.

had my Indian food delivered a while ago, can’t fault the service, but the food in general was absolutely disgusting as soon as I opened up the bag and got my food out I pulled a very long black hair out of my Nan bread and found 4 other black hairs in my rice and chips after, this resulted in me not even touching my food so I’m very hungry and angry I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN.
