Our friend Bryan has been to Zaika more than once and highly recommended it, so our friends’ group went for an early dinner.
We were greeted and seated promptly, and garlic naan and butter naan were ordered while we debated our entrées: butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and lamb vindaloo. Between the five of us, we covered the full spice spectrum—from mild to very spicy. ️
Everything was delicious, and we happily sopped up every bit of those sauces with pieces of naan. The waitstaff checked on us often, making sure the heat level was just right and offering extra hot sauce for anyone who wanted to turn it up a notch.
Bryan’s recommendation was spot on, and we’re already looking forward to many more visits to Zaika.

This restaurant is lovely! We chose a Beautiful outdoor table for 2. Our server, Tirtha, was helpful and attentive.
Our food was perfectly seasoned to our preferred spice level.

Wow, absolutely delicious food and drink! Great service too! I was missing good Indian cuisine that I often enjoyed in my hometown, so I tried this place after walking by it at City Place in Santa Ana. So glad I did. Everything was fresh and high quality with some of the best flavors I’ve had. Samosas, bang bang cauliflower, and mango lassi were outstanding. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, this place will not disappoint – enjoy!

Absolutely incredible experience! The flavors here are authentic and bold. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, chicken pakora and 2 chef special and all were cooked to perfection—tender meat and a rich, complex sauce. The garlic naan was fresh out of the tandoor, pillowy and buttery. If you’re looking for real-deal Indian cuisine, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back for more!
