Zaidy’s is a Denver classic for a reason. After 35 years, they’re still serving some of the best deli food and baked goods in town.

The Reuben was incredible—perfectly grilled rye bread, tender corned beef, and great balance of flavor. Easily one of the best in the city. The Challah French Toast with caramelized bananas was another favorite: rich, comforting, and not overly sweet.

Service was friendly, the portions were generous, and everything—from the latkes to the desserts—felt made with care.

Whether you’re there for breakfast, lunch, or just to grab some market staples like bagels or soup, Zaidy’s continues to deliver classic comfort done right.

Jewish deli giving Denver every bit of Yiddish nostalgia in every bite
The menu is kitschy and cute, and the food is fabulous
I love that there is both a deli and a restaurant, and the decor really seals the deal
Bagels are great, lox is great, latkes are great!
Food was amazing, and our server Jesus was super sweet and kind
11/10

Stopped in right before closing for a to go surprise bag. Pick up was super easy and we got 1/2 dozen bagels and a blueberry pastry. Also grabbed a beautiful black and white because we couldn’t not! The cashier was very friendly and the new layout makes frab and go orders so easy.

Incredible selection of New York deli classics. We had a pastrami Reuben, challah breakfast sandwich, and an order of latkes. The latkes were the thinnest we’ve ever had, closer to a hash brown, but with the toppings scratched the latke itch.

Also have an amazing case of baked goods, and a fridge full of Jewish classics to-go. Hamentashen, rugelach, knish, kugel, matzah ball soup, brisket, pastrami, lox, whitefish… everything!

Highly recommend! We will be back.

What a great find this was! I can’t believe that I found it just driving around in Denver. It truly did have the best Rueben -it was so good I had one two days in a row! And don’t pass up the cake slices. I bought the lemon coconut and it was fantastic. The buttercream frosting was some of the best I have ever had, it it was the perfect blend of tangy and sweetness.
My only complaint is that I couldn’t purchase those yummy pickles -the best I’ve had since New York. I am going to plan another trip to Denver just so I can dine here again – thank you for your great food and hospitality.

I have been to Zaidy’s for take out and dine in. Both have been pleasurable experiences. The food is fresh, well prepared, and the portions are nice and big! The free appetizers, e.g. pickles are delightful. The servers are friendly and quick. In general it is a fun experience. The only bit of downside is that it gets a bit loud. Also, I have picked up food to go. The $ 15.00 for a chicken soup is too expensive. If I may add, I am Catholic and I love ❤️ the Jewish vibe at Zaidy’s.

That “at home” feeling offering fantastic Jewish comfort food, large portions, plenty of variety, and the best whitefish salad I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back. Our waitress was so kind too and made us feel like true guests.

This is a nice spot. The sandwich was huge! It was enough for two people. The service was great. The banana foster cake was delicious. I was surprised they served bacon. I love bacon though! I will definitely go back again.

Always enjoy going to Zaidy’s on Sunday afternoons for lunch or a late breakfast. I have yet to order anything I do not like. The turkey club salad is enough for two or more. The soups are great, as are the sandwiches and the breakfasts. We always get items from the deli when we leave and the staff in the deli and the restaurant are always kind, attentive, gracious, and courteous.
