I sought out Rumi’s Kitchen to learn they were closed for renovation. About 2 lights later is Zafron and it was the Persian experience I was craving. We had the eggplant app, specialty zafron app, the koobideh, chicken tandoori, grilled shrimp, and one of the gin cocktails. Everything was delicious! Service was great, food is authentic, and the restaurant is lovely. So glad I found this gem. Highly recommend.

Went this evening with my family and it was hands down one of the greatest experiences in a restaurant I have ever had! Our server Joseph was attentive, polite, and very knowledgeable. Even the manager, who was busy making cocktails, made it over to our table twice to make sure everything was perfect which it was! Highly recommend this establishment and it blows Rumi’s out of the water by far!

An unplanned date night became a wonderful experience for my husband and me at Zafron! We have been several times before and have always enjoyed it. But on this occasion, we were more impressed than ever. We started with hummus and pita, and I considered the baked cheese for an appetizer, but the server got away from us before I placed the order. Shortly thereafter, my husband and I decided on a bottle of wine. Unfortunately, it was not available. It wasn’t long before the manager appeared at the table with a bottle from his stock from the same winery, though a different varietal. He gave us the same price as the bottle we selected, but the bottle he provided would likely have been higher. He also suggested the baked cheese as an accompaniment, which delighted me given I had been thinking about ordering it. It was delicious and the wine was outstanding! When we received the bill, my husband noted that the cheese was not listed. My husband called attention to its absence to the server, who told us the manager said it was on the house. What a class act! We would not have expected that, but what a lovely treat. The food was great, the atmosphere was excellent, and the customer service was exceptional. We will certainly return!

My visit to Zafron in Sandy Springs was truly amazing! The staff was incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service throughout the entire meal. The food was outstanding—every dish was bursting with authentic Persian flavors, making it an unforgettable dining experience. And the dessert? Absolutely heavenly! It was the perfect way to end the meal. I’m already looking forward to coming back and exploring more of their incredible menu!

I’ll start with the good things. The entrees are superb. The salmon as well as vegetables were grilled to perfection and also seasoned well. The ambience was also really nice. The Zafron Special tasted nice with the pita bread, but was essentially like a mango pickle to me.
The not so great things. Service was very slow, even though there were barely any people there. We asked for hot sauce with our entree twice, but never got it. Lastly, we had the pistachio roulade for dessert. It would have been great, had it been fresh. The cake had lost its moistness.
Overall, I would recommend the appetizers and entrees, but be prepared to wait.

We had lunch at Zafron restaurant yesterday, and it was our first time there. The food and service were amazing! I rarely order salmon dishes because most restaurants overcook it, but the waiter suggested it after I mentioned I was in the mood for fish. I’m so glad I took his recommendation—the grilled salmon was fantastic! The seasoning and the temperature were perfect. We also tried the prime rib, which I really enjoyed as well. If you like spicy food, definitely try their special Zafron appetizer—it pairs wonderfully with the bread

I went to this restaurant a few weeks ago and will certainly come back. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The curved dining booths are great for groups and allows for n sharing meals if you desire to do so while having conversations. Everyone there had great attitudes and were very helpful.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. We’ve eaten lunch and dinner here several times. The food and service is always great. We consider it a ‘great value’. You get a a very nice meal at a reasonable price. We also like that they take reservations and have their own large parking lot! Very few places in Sandy Springs have either! We highly recommend Zaffron’s to everyone!

Came here for a dinner date night and dined in. Zafron made the night feel special right from the start with the prosecco they brought over, which set the tone.
I ordered the Koobideh kabob, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavor, seasoning, and portion size were exactly what I needed. It was so good I almost ordered another just to take home. Overall, this is a great date-night spot with food that truly delivers. Highly recommend.
