According to the price and atmosphere, it is a great place for dinner and hang out with Family and friends. Really liked the place. Food was good. I really like the steak. To me, this is the best halal steak i have tasted in New York. Pasta was very good too. Beef burger and chicken supreme wrap were average, nothing special. Calamari was good but wings were average. Drinks were good.

Went to Zafran grill the other day. Apparently they did their grand opening 3 days prior. We had the fried calamari, creamed spinach, pan seared salmon, oven baked BBQ ribs, Spaghetti Pomodoro, Spaghetti meatballs and Florentine Stuffed chicken. They gave us their Mango Mule drink as complimentary. Everything single item we ordered was amazing! The service was a little slow though. Only really I would mention it is because we went during an off hour so didn’t expect a long delay. However, again, the food was amazing and totally made up for it. The atmosphere is also nice. They did great with the decor inside. Lastly, it’s great to see nice halal restaurants like the Zafran Grill opening up in this area!

I visited the Zafran Grill restaurant with my family of 17, and I must say that we had a fantastic time. The food quality and service were excellent, and we were really impressed with the restaurant’s overall ambiance.
The starters and chicken wings were fantastic and definitely set the tone for the rest of the meal. The steak , Rib Eye and Lamb chops was cooked to perfection and was accompanied by a variety of delicious sides that really brought out the flavors of the meat.
One thing that really stood out to us was the restaurant’s virgin drinks. They were all refreshing, and they really added to the overall experience of dining at the Zafran Grill.
The service was also excellent, waitstaff was attentive and friendly, and they were always there when we needed them. We truly felt like we were being taken care of throughout our meal.

It’s good to see that the Bengali restaurants are trying to match the upscale ones. This renovated Zafran is way better than the previous location at Jamaica.
You can get the premium vibes when you enter the restaurant and I will say their customers service is also good so far.
Their steak price seemed a little high but did not taste that one so will not compare the price with taste.
We took their Zafran Special Burger and Mexican burger. Both of the burgers included fries on the side and they served a good portion of that.
Their burgers were super juicy and flavorsome. I actually preferred the Zafran Special burger over the Mexican one.
I also tried their mocktails, which were pretty much average.

Food was delicious. Their appetizers came out quickly and tasted amazing. Steak was cooked medium and done perfectly. Being one of the first halal steakhouses that I’ve tried, it was above my expectations and I would definitely recommend trying their dishes. Chicken parmigiana was tasty and full of flavor. Will definitely be returning to try more of their menu. Staff was kind and efficient. The manager also made sure we were properly taken care of and made sure we were happy with our meals.

The food here is absolutely awesome. The gentleman who runs this place are very courteous and always welcoming. This is one of the best steaks in general I’ve had and it’s also Halal. The chef is from capital grille and does a wonderful job with all the dishes. Make sure to try the steak and the lamb chops. The salads are also great. This place is a gem for people who like steaks and Halal friendly. Make sure to pay a visit when in Queens.

New and improved location for Zafran. The interior design is very nice. The restaurant can accommodate large parties. The food options is great. The service was good. Tons of parking in the back lot.
