Shawarma over humus was good. Also got lentil soup, tabouleh, and grilled shish kabab. Lentil soup did not have much to it and not worth $8.99. Expected more food on the grilled shish kabab platter as it was $27.99. Tabouleh has too much lemon in it.

Overall, the portions are small with a high price tag. Service was good. Will probably look for another Mediterranean place with better portion and pricing.

Great authentic Mediterranean food. We tried the mixed grill and fatteh, both of them were amazing. The owner was so welcoming and friendly.

Ive never wrote a review but nothing was more upsetting than having a party of 30 people and being scammed by the owner. We planed this with the owner a month ago discussing how we wanted a buffet style dinner and he would charge $35 per person. Everything was agreed on prior with the owner regarding the menu. Come the day of the party he is asking what exactly we wanted and suggested individual plates with 1 or 2 pieces of meat and some appetisers. We reiterated that we wanted to keep the original plan of the big platters that would be served buffet style. He ended up pushing the plates idea and we ended up going along with what he wanted so we wouldn’t make a scene and thinking he would at least put enough meat on each plate being charged for $35. When the food was ready, which came out much later than he said it would, no servers were there to bring down the food to the guests and most of the guests went up and down the steps to bring the food. The plate looked like a school lunch, which was embarrassing for it being priced at high rate and everyone was still hungry. We asked if there was any leftovers that wasn’t included in the plates and the worker asked the boss, saying okay without mentioning any additional charge.
Being brought up eating middle eastern food, it was unflavoured and something i could have made better at home. In addition to the chicken being burnt, the portions were unbelievably small. Lastly when coming to pay, he said that the additional plater was covered by him and yet he charged an additional amount, which was not what we agreed on when planing this event. I strongly advise not to come to this place, unless you want to be scammed for overpriced unfavored food. Don’t be fooled by the pictures on his page, which was what we were expecting.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel like we were visiting family rather than just dining out. The staff at this incredible Palestinian restaurant were truly exceptional—each person took the time to make sure we felt comfortable, attended to, and genuinely welcomed.

Now, the food…where do I even begin? Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to Palestine. The hummus was smooth and creamy, the falafel crisp and perfectly seasoned, and the lamb dishes were cooked to perfection, tender and full of rich, earthy spices. Each bite felt like a lovingly prepared home-cooked meal—just like something you’d enjoy around the table with family.

The warmth and care the staff put into every aspect of the experience, from the attentive service to the heartfelt conversations, turned dinner into an unforgettable evening. It wasn’t just about the food (though the food was absolutely amazing)—it was about the genuine connection and hospitality that made us feel like we were part of something special.

This restaurant doesn’t just serve great food; it offers an experience you can’t get anywhere else. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Palestinian cuisine with a side of family-style hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

AMAZING restaurant! Everything was delicious and we had a wonderful experience with the (presumed) owner, who was attentive and friendly. The mint lemonade is a must-try, and the baklava was the best I’ve ever had.

Such a wonderful find!!
We happened to stumble upon this restaurant while searching for somewhere to break fasts during Ramadan and fell in love!

The food was amazing!! We loved it so much that we returned less than a week later with more family so they could try it as well. We ordered one of the platters for the whole family, and it was a great price point for so much food!

The decor is beautiful, the resturant is clean and clearly well taken care of.

The hospitality and kindness of the staff though, is unmatched. They took the time to talk to us, ask where we’re from, explain different foods to us and showed us the party rooms and downstairs area. When we came back the next time they remembered us, and even remembered that my daughter loved the lamb chops

This has definitely become a staple for us! Cannot recommend enough!

Absolutely delicious! We tried Zad Albasha for the first time last night and were so impressed. Fresh, delicious food—we had hummus, chicken fatteh, and chicken/lamb mixed shawarma wrap, and baklava, plus mint tea. All Halal. We will be back soon!

My mom took me here to celebrate a big achievement in my life. Id give a lower score if I could. Service was not good. Food was horrible. I could have made it better at home. There was no flavor in anything. Iv been eating ethnic foods my whole life. We have made better hummus, and tabbouleh at home.
..My mom got the “special” was supposed to be mixed veggies. She got Asian mixed frozen vegetables. There was a water chestnut and sugar snap peas and celery in her “Mediterranean vegetables”…along with a slice of tomato and raw onion also there was a bug in the container they brought our check in. My “special” had more hummus then meat. They had the audacity to char $25 per “special”

Worst food iv ever had out.
Very disappointing.

The atmosphere was horrible. I’m an energy person and as soon as I walked in a felt heavy and un welcome.

We will never go back here nor send people there way.

The best part of the meal was getting Rita’s on the way home.

EDIT:
all these good reviews are probably forced onto the person by the owner. As soon as I started taking pictures of the food the owner was very pushy wanting me to post them a good review on social media….these good reviews also show that people don’t know good food. You want great Mediterranean food? Try Blue Olive!
