This is my first time going here. I was looking for a chili dog and they came up in my google search and they have many other food choices that are probably great…..however, their chili tasted canned and they claim its homemade. Really? Little to zero beef, no tomato sauce just a beef gravy. The presentation was a joke. The onion rings were burnt to a crisp so I had them remake them and at that point they were ok but just a poor onion ring production. The vanilla milk shake was good but, again, totally processed, nothing I had was made in house. Im not going back but dont let stop you from giving them a try.

Zacks is now near Berlin train station. Some of the pics on Google reviews show old location. Blue booths are from the new location. The staff is friendly and food arrived in a quickly. I ordered the burger and onion rings. The reviews online and local news outlets were accurate . Definitely a 4 napkin burger and was delicious! My wife tried the turkey burger on lettuce bun.The herb/mayo sauce was mild and delicious. I would come back again! Small space with great food.

Cozy burger joint with a good selection of food available. The burger is fresh and ground formed, not frozen, pre-formed patties, with fresh toppings. Cooked perfectly and juicy with a good sear. The Chicago dog was freshly topped with a choice of all beef or a beef/pork mix. They also have a really good price for the quality you receive. With friendly staff and a good product, I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Overall place looks kinda crowded since you walk in there.
Atmosphere was decent. Girls who were servicing were awesome, very helpful.
Burgers..kinda like regular burgers, nothing fancy about it.
Fresh veggies tho.
I really liked the milkshake there, with whipped cream and cherry on top, really good.
Fries were very crispy, but oily. You could smell that burned oil. Not really enjoyed them.

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat. I had a burger with avocado, bacon and cheddar cheese on a sesame seed bun. We also ordered a bowl of home made clam chowder and onion rings. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back soon.

Went here the other night to pick up some burgers and fries to go. The staff was quick & friendly to greet me and get me in & out quickly.
The food was good, and prices were reasonable.
I ordered the Shroom Burger, and I did see it comes with a “House Sauce”, but I didn’t realize that the house sauce is Mustard! I suppose it is partially my bad for not asking what the sauce is, but figured it was probably some sort of secret recipe. I never imagined even for a moment it would be loaded with mustard. I wiped off of much of it as I could, and it made it much better. I will probably get food from here again but will definitely order without the “House Sauce”/mustard.
Mustard on a burger is a little odd to me, but on a mushroom Swiss burger… Crazy talk!
French fries and Sweet Potato fries were good, as was the milkshake…
Update (4/13/2023):
Finally returned here and ordered a Mushroom Swiss Double Burger without the House Sauce/Mustard and it was good. The Crispy Fries were crispy and tasty. The burgers and fries were nice and hot.
I had the Salter Caramel Milkshake and it was cold, thick, sweet, and tasty.
This was a much better experience.
The staff was friendly as they were last time.
My advice… No House Sauce

Great burgers and shakes incredible onion rings! Would recommend for the awesome food and the service was friendly. Only negative is the table was dirty and the menus need to be wiped down. We hand hand sanitizer so no big deal.

This is a hidden gem in Kensington section of Berlin. We had the burgers which are on special every Tuesday. Burgers were great, service even better. I will be back for the Chicago Dog next time. Outdoor seating perfect on a day like today. Does a respectable lunch business.
