Forgot to take photos before the main meal, but we were not disappointed. Probably the best fried chicken I have had in a very long time.
Great small town BBQ with very friendly workers.
We had fried chicken, brisket, BBQ chicken, and ribs. All of it was great! Finished it off with some apple pie. Do not hesitate to eat here.

100 bucks for 2 salads and 10 ribs no sides no drinks just has me in disbelief I know prices are high but that seems just insane to me I mean a rack of ribs any where else is 28.00 and that’s a full meal with sides.. and a salad pry 16 max so I just think you should reconsider how you price ribs not by the lb but by the rack or half rack 60 bucks for (3lbs) 10 ribs the math is off ..sad because since the new owners things have changed so much and we will not be returning because we are a family of 5 and that’s just to steep for us when we can make this all at home for way less then 100

BBQ and quality food…this is a wonderful place to eat. You sit amounst the ranchers and farmers…when you dine at Zack’s..you can always tell it’s a great place by the number of locals around you. THE PIES are just delicious too! Bananna Cream..and or yes..the meats by the pound for take out. They also do parties and events. GREAT BBQ..traditional recipe still the same for over 47 years that I can atest to .

Stopped by on the way to Montrose from Crested Butte. This is a really good BBQ place! The server was really friendly and service was quick. The restaurant was clean and the best of all is the fact that the food was really good. The atmosphere was nice and we will definitely be back. I forgot to get pictures of all the pies but there were quite a few to choose from

The ribs were cold, hard and so rubbery they squeaked on my teeth. The brisket was also cold, dry and flavorless. The bun was not homemade, it was warm, and dry.
I ordered a side of baked beans, that were just not baked beans. They were foul and sour, possibly rotten.
The atmosphere was very uncomfortable and surreal as there is no music in the building, just the sound of the microwaves and staff talking shit to each other in the back.
I will never understand how this place has so many positive reviews.

Husband daughter and I tried this place for the first time a few weekends ago. And we loved it! My husband had a delicious prime rib that he said was to die for! I had the best chicken fried steak I ever had there. To top off the delicious food, the People were friendly and it has such a cozy atmosphere will definitely be back

The staff was extremely friendly! Felt like they genuinely enjoyed being there. We ordered the chicken and rice soup for an app and it was delicious very very flavorful. The beef patty which is ground up every morning it was season to perfection really complementing the natural beef flavor, the potato salad tasted fresh & was delicious! The brisket sandwich was cooked exceptionally it instantly made our mouth water upon seeing it. It came with crispy sweet potato fries that went well with the sandwich. It is out of the way of most main towns but definitely worth a look.

I have been to all 50 states and never write reviews. The ribs and brisket are some of the best I have ever had. You dont need sauce. Just enjoy the moist and flavorful meet. Well worth swinging by. Will come again.

Went into Zachs for breakfast today Saturday. Horrible attitudes the buser was the worst. She acted like she hated her life. Server never refilled a drink, took away dirty dishes, never offered boxes, or brought our check. They were NOT busy. We normally go during the week and have excellent service. Will not be back on a Saturday
