I drive close to an hour at times if there is traffic on the 5S just to have some of the best chicken sandwiches and delicious Mediterranean food. Is worth every single time. Everything in the menu is a must. Food always tastes just as delicious as the first time I’ve had it. Fresh, hand made and can taste the love and joy that goes into making it. Staff is always such great moon, willing to help and always attentive. the place is always clean and tables always organized waiting for happy customers to sit and enjoy an amazing meal. Personnel is dedicated to make your experience an amazing vibe makes it feel as if they taking care of family. As long as this place remain open I will continue to bring my family and always recommend this beautiful gem.

This place turned out to have one of the best fried chicken I’ve had in OC. It’s very crispy and delicious. The coating is just right and delicious. The chicken wrap and slider was about $7 which was a great deal. The place looks quite well maintain and service was great.

Personally I prefer Dave’s hot chicken but still worth a 5 star. Good enough for me to come back if I’m nearby.

Prob the most crispy & crunchy fried chicken available to me. Definitely a noticeable plus compared to other similar places.

Suggestions: slightly heavier seasoning for marinade (or provide an item with that option). (Feel free to correct me) I see only white meat on the menu and all the items Ive tried share the same problem: dry and under-seasoned inside. Having dark meat items would definitely solve the dry problem.

Randomly stopped here on my way to visit my family. Tried the wrap, it’s a great portion, and it was so tasty for $7. The chicken tender in it was so crispy and there was actual meat not just breading. I didn’t find the white meat dry at all. Tried the mash potatoes as a side and it was good. I will def come back here when I’m in town.

This is one of my fav spots. Definitely felt like a hidden gem. Not sure how long it’s been around but in the world of halal fried chicken I love the fact they have a grilled chicken option. The fried chicken is amazing too but I just love having a grilled option bc idk who else carries it. Portions are big imo but also I don’t eat as much. Have gone a few times and really enjoyed it each time highly recommend it to anyone tryna grab a bit. Just wished they were open later!

Zach’s Chicken was certainly a pleasant surprise. As I would pass by the Pita Pita on Lake Forest Dr at least once a week, I found it quite amusing that it seemed there was another restaurant opening inside the same building. And by that, I mean they literally share a dining room. This humorous development didn’t inspire much confidence in me, but of course I had to try it, and I was certainly not disappointed. With pleasant and helpful staff, cooked to order chicken, and the (almost standard, by now) “choose your heat level” model, it was everything you’d expect from another of the many upcoming hot chicken sandwich joints, and for a reasonable price. The chicken was perfect, the sandwiches were simple and tasty, and there were a variety of sauces that each offered something different and delicious. I always get the second-to-hottest spice level at these places, and I have to say, Zach’s seemed significantly less spicy than comparable restaurants, but you’re really looking for some chicken that’ll make you cry, you’re not missing out on too much. All in all, Zach’s Chicken is definitely a must try for chicken sandwich lovers.

Im mad. That this place doesn’t exist in Las Vegas. I thought Canes had changed te cx finger game. Now call me biased. My name is Zach. But holy goodness. Very crispy very juicy and very tender chicken. Not an easy task when you’re serving massive cx tenders and sandwiches. Very very impressed. If you’re not a chain, please do it. Keep the quality and expand. Gotta try the spicier ones next time. And this was a delivered order. Even more impressive.

This place steps all over Dave’s hot chicken raising canes and any other chicken place in OC I don’t even know how this place hasn’t blown up yet! We ordered their family pack and was scared it was going to get soggy but nope we drove home (15 minutes) and it was still hot and crunchy! So we’re the fries! They put a food freshness pack in the containers to keep it actually really fresh still the tenders are so crispy the breading is perfect and the chicken is so flavorful it’s not bland like everywhere else new customer for life now so happy we found this place!

Food was horrible, got the grilled chicken sloppy Zach’s wrap. Drenched in sauce, was barely edible due to the sheer amount of sauce. Chicken wasn’t great either. Will never go back again, awful.

These photos don’t do justice to how delicious these chicken sandwiches were – will update with better photos when I return again. A bit on the pricier side coming out to $25 for two sandwiches (no combo), but shoutout to the friendly chefs that made my visit worth it.

Got the Sloppy and Kool Zach both on fiery (medium), but definitely could’ve done spicy (hot) since fiery was not spicy at all. The best part is the crispiness, fried to excellence, and the fact it doesn’t give me high blood pressure and a stroke like the other fried chicken shops that give you chicken dunked in saltiness. Zach’s also leaves the oil in the frying bin and not leaking out the chicken as how a properly fried chicken should be.

I’ve tried them all Howlin’, Dave’s, Popeyes, Chick-fil-A, KFC, you name it, and this place is easily in the top 3 of chicken sandos I’ve tried so far.
