In an area without many strong Italian dining options, Za Za’s Tavola truly stands out. It’s easily the best Italian cuisine we’ve had locally so far. The food has been excellent on both of my visits—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service is consistently above par, with staff who are attentive, welcoming, and professional. The atmosphere is elegant without feeling stuffy, making it a great spot for a relaxed dinner or a special night out. I’ve been twice already, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Perfect dining experience. The wait staff is on point and so is the food. The grilled calamari was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend any of the fresh pasta dishes, but rhe one with mushrooms, prosciutto and peas was absolutely to die for!!! Best pasta dish I have had since Italy. I highly recommend.

My wife and I had a very nice first visit to Za Za’s. The wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable, chatty even, but courteous and friendly. Food was excellent with both our dishes delightful. Proteins cooked properly, nice firmness to seafood, vegetables fresh and mainly blanched. Expect to pay $50 per person, more with alcohol. It has instantly been added to our rotation of reliable restaurants in Northwest suburban Chicago.

Had a great dinner celebrating our son’s coming home after graduating from US Marine Corp Boot Camp. The entrees were excellent. Bread and salads were very good. Our server was friendly and attentive. Will definitely come again for another fabulous meal. We ate outside and the weather was perfect. Ample parking was available.

A disappointing experience at Za Za’s.
We have had their takeout several times and thought it would be nice to go to Za Za’s for dinner. We get there at our reservation time and get seated in their enclosed outdoor area.
I asked if we can be seated in the main dining room and the hostess says that “the evening is already all mapped out.” We don’t know how they determine that, because on the reservation it did not specify whether you want indoor or outdoor seating. We talked about leaving, because the seating wasn’t ideal, despite having heaters, and just not a very nice area/set up. One lady had her coat on the entire time.
We ended up staying, because we do really like their food, but we quickly got what we wanted ate and left.
Za Za’s needs to change the way they manage the restaurant and reservations, because it was not a great first experience for us.

An ok place to have dinner. Food was good, but not amazing. Wait staff seemed to be stretched very thin, our server was non-stop flustered, but still very friendly. The grilled calamari had delicious flavor but were too chewy. Lobster ravioli sauce was a bit more fishy than I would have liked, but the ravioli itself was very good.

This place has been great in the past, but tonight was unacceptable. We ordered the Shrimp Crab Cakes to start and the shrimp was raw on the inside. The waitress was very sweet and we sent it back. Instead we went with the Calamari which was fishy and just okay. Once we got the bill nothing was compensated for the appetizer. I’m very disappointed by that since we were served raw shrimp and nothing was taken off of our bill. Not sure if we will be back in the future.

This is a great place to have a nice meal with a cozie atmosphere. The food is fantastic. Their chicken catchatory and the frutti di mare are excellent. You will not be disappointed with anything. Give it a try.

Attended a birthday party in a private area. Menu was limited to three options so don’t know their other entree choices. Food was delicious. Very nice atmosphere and also had bar seating.
