Z Town started out as a food-truck burger spot, and it’s great to see how well they’ve carried that same energy and passion into what they do now. The team are super friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about putting out good food.
They definitely know how to make decent burgers — the smash burgers are lovely, cooked well with great flavour, nice toasted buns, and good sauces that tie everything together. The fries are solid and satisfying, making a great side without trying too hard. The fried chicken is also very good — crispy, well seasoned, and enjoyable.
Overall, Z Town delivers exactly what you want from a quality burger place: tasty food, friendly service, and a relaxed vibe. Well done to the team — a reliable spot for a good burger and fries

Z Town is in an old service station on Port Road. No frills. But busy. There will be a wait – be patient – it’s worth it. The burger was good but the cheese steak was excellent – there was alot of tasty steak in there. The sweet potato fries were crispy which is no mean feat.

Bit of a wait, wasn’t too busy at 5:30/6:00 but got way busier closer to 7pm. Burgers were amazing and fries were crispy and seasoned well. Had a chill vibe and Everyone seemed to be working hard in the back. Make sure you bring some wet wipes!!

Delicious.

The only small criticism I have is that the beef patty had a couple of bits of hard gristle in it which was not nice to chew on.
Perhaps the meat supplier could mince it finer.

We have always seen the busy crowd driving past and finally went to Z Town last night at about 7pm. We were advised a 30 minute wait but it was a lovely night so ordered 2 burgers and fries and grabbed a table. What an absolute treat when they were ready. A very generous small size fries that were delicious. The 2 burgers were amazing. My chicken burger was perfection. Absolutely mouth watering and tasty. My partner had a meat patty variety and barely spoke as he devoured it completely in no time at all. I counted just under 50 people at one time so just shows everyone knows Z Town reputation. We will definitely be back as staff were great too. Well done Z Town! Delicious!

Every time I come to Z Town, the boss up front greets me in a hospitable manner and shows top-tier service skills, no matter the occasion. The food never disappoints, and in my opinion, they have the best burgers in Adelaide. The atmosphere is normally bustling with many people in the restaurant, but most of the time, you can find seats. It’s 100% a must-try if you are thinking about it.

I usually don’t post bad reviews about food because I understand every place can have good and bad days. But this experience with Z Town Burgers was truly disappointing. The patty in the burger was completely burnt, and instead of replacing it, it was still served. I’ve genuinely enjoyed their burgers before and even brought a friend along after hyping it up so much. Unfortunately, it turned into an embarrassing moment for me.

Z-Town is one of those places where the food is worth the wait. The burgers usually take awhile but when you do get it – it is so tasty, juicy and worth the wait and the price. One of the few places I’m willing to spend around $20 just for a burger.

I’ve tried a variety of items from Z Town’s menu and can confidently say it’s one of my favourite burger spots in Adelaide!
The Big Fella, Cheesesteak and fries have consistently been delicious, high quality and reasonably priced.
What sets Z Town apart from any other burger joint in Adelaide is its unique outdoor atmosphere and welcoming staff

I’ve been coming here for over two years now, and I finally remembered to leave a review after meaning to for ages. The quality of the burgers and chips is simply unbeatable. Ever since discovering Z Town, no other place has quite measured up.
We always go for the Seasonal Z combo, which comes with a generous serving of chips and a drink, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, and while there have been a few minor off days, they hardly matter when compared to how many amazing meals we’ve had here. Every restaurant has its ups and downs, so I can’t fault them for that.
I’ve been recommending Z Town to everyone I know since day one, and everyone I’ve brought along has absolutely loved it. Plus, being open until late is a huge bonus for late-night cravings.
Looking forward to seeing Z Town continue to grow and succeed. You’ve definitely earned a loyal customer here!
