Hidden Gem!
One of the best sushi we have had. Very fresh and lots of flavor! We were a little nervous because it was empty on a friday afternoon, but we were glad we stayed. Sushi and noodles were very good. We got 4 rolls and they were very good, even the tropical roll which was something new for us but the flavors meshed together very well. The service was good as well. We Will definitely be back next time we drive by!

Had some really delicious and beautiful food. The food items were more delightful than the pictures on the menu. I really wish I would have taken pics of all our items. They are really well priced and the lunch items are unbeatable. The service was great as we went thru the drive thru but we encountered a couple of staff members to update us with our order and they were all polite and professional. I will definitely be returning and I would recommend this restaurant to others.

Wonderful experience! The first drive through sushi I have ever seen!! So cool and the food was delicious wow! One of the best Philadelphia rolls I have ever had and the price is very good. I also had the salmon poke bowl which was so so yummy. It was a great flavor and the sushi rice was one of the best I’ve had. Lastly I got the honeydew boba tea which was of course, super tasty. Will definitely be going again :))

My husband and I went for all you can eat. Must say the sashimi is absolutely excellent. Incredibly flavorful fish. Best octopus ive ever had. Selection is pretty good, nowadays most of our fatally you can eat spots have really sliced their menu, not here they’ve got a good selection. The rolls were good, but not excellent., in our opinion. But really wonderful food. The price was excellent especially for the large selection. But the service was INCREDIBLE. Our server was Sophia and she was fabulous! Knowledgeable on not only their menu, but how its prepared compared to other places. She was on top of everything too, we didnt even have to ask for refills on drinks she was just there and ready to ask if we were ready. She was so friendly! Not only did she share wonderful knowledge of the food, but she had so much to tell us about food from Japan and China as well as customs from both countries. She really made our experience perfect. We will be coming back! This is our new go to spot. We live in Fontana, but ate more than willing to drive to upland every time we want sushi now! Definitely ask for Sophia! Youll have an incredible time!

When I heard that a new sushi place had opened nearby, I had to check it out. This new restaurant is well decorated and has an aesthetic vibe. Also, the sushi was well prepared and definitely did not disappoint. I will be coming back very shortly so I can try more of their amazing flavors. If you are ever in the area please come and support the business.

A new jewel of a restaurant. We came inside thinking it was similar to a fast food restaurant but we were pleasantly surprised to find a nice sit down location.

My daughter loves sushi so usually I end up getting a tempura dish but happily there were many items to pick from.

My daughter chose her favorite California roll and I had the beef fried rice. It was loaded with crispy bites of carrot, peas, celery and onion which we not only shared but had some to take home.

After complementing our chef we were surprised with a serving of Tea leaf salad and hot jasmine tea. Our hostess explained that this is usually eaten as an appetizer with the tea. The tea leaf salad has a punch of flavor and the sweet tea helps smooth the palate. I liked the crunchiness of the salad.

I would give this a 100% happy dance in my chair.!

Add to that they have a drive through for a quick pickup.

This quiet little spot is a fun new option in Redlands! My wife and I visited for lunch and were the only ones in the restaurant. The service was prompt and helpful!

The spot took over the old Mill Creek BBQ space and they’ve attempted to update the decor to match. The remnants of Mill Creek are still evident, but the hanging umbrellas are a nice touch and feel like it ties the space into downtown Redlands.

My wife and I were most excited by the Burmese food options, which seem to be tougher to find in the area.

We tried the Mohinga soup, the Samosas (Burmese Samosas are different than Indian Samosas), 2 of the ‘sticky rice’ dessert options, a Falooda (a dessert beverage) and a Crab Meat Poke bowl.

All the food was tasty, and it was really fun trying some traditional Burmese food.

The Mohinga soup, with fish, tempura, and noodles was rich and full of flavor. The noodles seemed a touch over-cooked, but the dish was tasty.

The Samosas were unique, wherein the potato inside was cubed (instead of a mashed consistency like Indian Samosas). The Samosas themselves were a bit bland, but the dipping sauce was very tasty. Additionally the Samosas seemed extra oily.

The Crab Meat Poke bowl was tasty and simple.

The Falooda was fun to try, and reminded me of a Filipino Halo-Halo beverage. The beverage came in a fun glass and was beautiful to look at, but was quite small considering the price, and that most of it consisted of ice.

The Sticky Rice options (Black Sticky Rice & Mango Sticky Rice) were tasty as well. I wished they had more of the coconut/sweet milk, but the texture was good. The Mango was a bit underripe, but still a nice combination with the rice.

The one downside was the servings were frustratingly small, especially for the cost of the food. What we did get (aside from the Samosas) was quite delicious and delivered to the table hot.

The only other quirk about this spot is the home-made tables. While the table-tops are nice, they have 4, very thick legs at each corner of the table which make it hard to sit on the edges of the booths (see photos). A center post table would work much better for them.

The menu is extensive, and the environment is welcoming. This seems to be a family restaurant, and they genuinely care about your experience. While I wish there was a bit more value for the food ordered, all in all we will likely be back to give this restaurant more business. This is definitely a worthwhile local business to support!
