Jeanine and all the employees were absolutely fabulous. I love the little hostess.
The place was busy and quite loud, but it was decorated great, the food was good, fabulous and affordable.
Love the sushi rolls and I love all the paintings that they have hanging on the wall, I don’t know if they’re for sale but they’re fabulous.
Located upstairs has an outdoor patio dining area with heaters. We sat inside by the TV’s, had a beer. They have a full bar, beer and wine.

Been hearing people talk about this place and others telling me I need to go. Finally had the opportunity and people were not joking. Well-prepared very high caliber food here and priced very reasonably. To such and extent that I wonder how they stay in business. VERY busy but expected with the amazing food/prices so expect a wait, especially so if you are bringing a large party like us. Every member of our group was happy and impressed with their meals. Staff was friendly and worked very hard considering how packed it was. Amazing job with everything Z Cafe!

Met a friend for my first visit. A bit of a wait as it was brunch time but not bad.
Hostess was great. Apparently it’s a favorite for locals. They were busy but our waitress was Amazing and the food was off the hook great. I had basically a meat lover’s omelet but they had a name for it. Delicious!
Prices were great as far as North County San Diego is concerned.
I want to take my family back there.

Delicious food that came out so fast so tasty and fresh. The tortillas chips that they brought out where definitely the best ive ever had in my life. Friendly staff too. 10/10 would recommend and come here again!

I want to meet the person who owns this restaurant. Because the waiters give you their A game. The food comes out and it is all A+ game. Chefs! Here is a picture of a “hamburger”. This picture is nothing to the actual. This thing was over a half pound of farm is close beef. It was extraordinary. No drama. This is your go place. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. This all happened because my son said said, “It’s less expensive than Carl’s Jr. and WAY better.” End story? He was right. Z Cafe. OH! For foundation FACT, for this UNBELIEVABLE, perfectly medium cooked BBQ, cheeseburger, fries and drink…$14.50! A north of fair deal.

Z-Cafe – reasonable prices, pleasant atmosphere, good size bar and plenty of TV’s so you don’t miss out on your favorite sports shows and games while dining. Food was xlnt with a fair amount of Vegetarian options. Rear entrance is the standard that leads you directly to the hostess kiosk. The front entrance is not for the handicapped as it’s 2 flights of stairs in the tower the Hostess kiosk is to your right when you get to the dining area. Good amount of seating in the main area and bar is slightly separated with stool seating. There is an 6-8 table nice covered outdoor patio with heaters when it gets cold with a lovely view of land and sky. Enjoyed the visit and the outdoor patio. Wait time was reasonable for 2 pm on a Saturday. Will be back!

We go here a couple times a week for the great service and low prices. The food is average but for the price, even better. Recently someone has decided to add so many chairs at the bar that there is NO space between seats. While we like to sit at the bar, it is no longer an option for us. The seating is so cramped that people next to you need to push their chairs back and get up in order for you to leave. Too bad that management is prioritizing more bodies at the bar over basic comfort…

Best restaurant in all of North County. Z Cafe has incredible prices and specials 7 days a week. They also change their specials menu frequently. This week is a turkey melt. Their prices are low and locals always enjoy this incredible place, with art on all the walls and a personal sushi chef. The sushi is always incredibly fresh!!!! This is our favorite place to eat in Bonsall.
