My family tried Z Brothers Pizza a few nights ago after receiving a letter in the mail from the store offering us a free pizza. We took the offer for a free (medium) pizza and ordered a second pizza (also medium) to accompany it.
We ordered carry-out and were quoted a 15 minute wait, which was surprising (we were expecting 30 minutes or more since it was dinner time on Saturday night) until we came into the store to find that they weren’t busy at all (it seemed like the only orders they had were ours and one other). It was surreal seeing a pizza place that wasn’t swamped on a Saturday night (especially one offering free pizzas), but that’s what we found.
The staff was friendly and handled our order efficiently. Our interaction with the staff wasn’t particularly notable, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
The food was okay (think a step down from Maverik pizza), but definitely not worth the price we paid. Our order total was just shy of $20 ($19 and some change), which felt like a lot for one medium pizza (since the second pizza was free per their promotion). For this price, I feel like our money would’ve been better spent at The Pie or even Papa Murphy’s for more pizza and higher-quality pizza. As a minor gripe, the toppings were poorly distributed, leaving some slices plain (when they should’ve had some toppings) while others were overloaded. My family reconciled this by trading toppings with each other, but it felt like sloppy work on the store’s part.
Overall, I don’t see my family coming back to Z Brothers any time soon, mainly because what you get doesn’t feel like a good value for what you pay.

Great selection of pizzas, calzones and toppings. Service was quick and friendly. Plenty of seating. The background music was top notch.
The breadsticks come out looking very juicy, but they are not overly garlicky. We were pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Their Alfredo sauce is delightful.

For $87 I was hoping the order was correct. The green peppers were on The Kahuna when we requested them to not be. We received marinara sauce instead of Alfredo. Unfortunately we aren’t impressed. We’ll stick with Lucky Slice.

DELICIOUS PIZZA AND AMAZING MEATBALL SANDWICH!!!!
We traveled to the Layton area from out of town and ordered delivery from the Layton Z-pizza location to our hotel room. The food delivery was routed to door dash and we only received half of our order, even though the delivery driver picked up the whole order (verified by the restaurant manager). I called the restaurant and the staff was super friendly, courteous, and helpful. They remade the missing part of our dinner and delivered it to us themselves. It was fresh, warm, and DELICIOUS! I would highly recommend this restaurant- although would recommend pick up if the delivery is going to be door dash.
Again- the food was absolutely amazing!!!

I was skeptical of how this place would be given a few of the lower ratings I’ve read. I have had a few friends tell me is great so I finally gave in and I’m glad I did. These are quality ingredients and well made pizza. Service was good and prices were fair. (Though food prices are out of control everywhere)
I had a big z and a Philly. The big z was great, crust was perfect, not bland by any means. The Philly was surprisingly good though not quite the real thing, still a great substitute.
Only negative and not theirs is that the parking lot traffic is a mess.

Gave them a try, anyone else tired of all the chain pizza restaurants? We ordered wanting to escape the boredom of the chains and Z Brothers does not disappoint! Obvious care in their products, and while this location is new with employees who are training, they did an excellent job with customer service, quality of food, and a great location. Worth many future trips. The cheese is top notch, spices and garlic are perfect.

Placed an order this afternoon for two pizzas, a large salad, and three sides. When my husband arrived to pick up the order, he was given only the two pizzas. He returned to the store to request the remaining items, and the staff responded by laughing before handing him the bag with the missing food. No apology was offered, and the interaction was handled unprofessionally. We will not be returning.

Wow. This was awful for the price. There was no flavor to the pizza. Family had a slice each and now half a pizza is waiting to go to trash. Absolutely disgraceful that a company would feel okay sending food like this to anyone. Lesson learned. I also don’t understand why this pizza place had a rating as high as it does. Literally choose anywhere else.

Got a margherita pizza, hot wings, and bread sticks. The pizza was absolutely overkill on the tomatoes. The fresh basil and mozzarella were nice. Crust and sauce average. I’d give the pizza a 5/10 by Utah pizza standards, a 3/10 by actual pizza standards. Breads sticks are pretty good. Nothing remarkable, but they get a pass. The wings shined the most. Lightly crispy with a good buffalo sauce and a great value by today’s wing prices (these were $1.20 per wing). Probably wouldn’t go back for any pizza, but the wings are worth going for again for sure.
