Z Bistro is Carson City’s hidden gem. Chef Brandon does an excellent job preparing dishes that are unique, beautifully plated, and delicious. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. Alec is always welcoming and provides top notch service. If you’re looking for fine dining in Carson City, Z Bistro is definitely the go to.

You can tell you carefully curate everything on your menu, I only wish I lived closer to try more. I’ve had the privilege in my life to eat at some of the best restaurants in the world. I’m originally from Carson and have not lived here for many years but visit family here from time to time. I’ve never had a dining experience like this any where else in the Carson Reno Tahoe area. If you are considering dining here, jump on the phone and make a reservation right away. Alec was our server tonight and he was so personable, knowledgeable and flawlessly took care of all of his tables with the biggest smile. Carson City is lucky to have gained such an amazing chef who creates magic in his kitchen every night! I will be back for sure!

I am blown away by Z Bistro. The crab cakes were to die for, the edamame the best I’ve ever had and the Porchetta with the wine that was recommended for it was unbelievable. They even made butter noodles for my 8 year old son who said he didn’t know butter noodles could taste that good. Absolutely perfect.

This was a quiet Thursday night dinner out with friends, and it was a delight. This is a nicely appointed bistro, with a seasonal menu that is tasty and interesting, with a well designed wine list featuring many terrific French wines, by the glass or bottle. The food is well prepared, portions are just right and clearly there has been great care in the preparation. The service was relaxed, professional and friendly. We will return, highly recommended. Go out and support your small local restaurants. Z Bistro is a delightful find here in Carson City.

The owner did a lovely dinner party for pur wedding day. Even though almost half the guest cancelled last minuet we still had a wonderful time, the food was fantastic and the service was lovely. Z Bistro is absolutely amazing every time we visit. From the drinks and food, to the atmosphere and the staff, Brandon and Alec always welcome you in like you’re old friends every time you’re there. We went in for dinner for two, and the service was so fast, they were on top of absolutely everything, even while serving a party of 12 at the same time. Thank you guys so much for an amazing food, and all the laughs. We’ll definitely be back!
