Walked in on a Friday night and sat down at the bar, was greeted immediately. Solo diner but I was entertained all evening. The sushi rollers were friendly and easy going, had great recommendations. Bartender/server Matt was very attentive and always kept my drink full. Food and cocktails were amazing, good choice of music playing in the background as well! These guys know good sushi & great hospitality.

Yuzu Sushi in Fenwick Island, Maryland, is an absolute gem, especially if you’re looking to savor the last few weekends of summer with a cool breeze and an outdoor dining experience that sets the perfect scene. The ambiance is nothing short of delightful—picture yourself enjoying a meal under the summer sky, with the gentle sound of waves in the background. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind and truly appreciate the season.

We kicked off our meal with the tuna tostadas, dipped in a luscious eel sauce that was nothing short of perfection. The crispy tostadas paired with the rich, savory sauce were a chef’s kiss moment. The gyoza was equally impressive, with a dipping sauce so delicious that we saved every drop to complement our sushi rolls.

Speaking of sushi, Yuzu’s rolls are in a league of their own. The Tsunami roll, with its hint of jalapeño, delivered an explosion of flavors that was both bold and refreshing. The Sandbar roll was a unique standout—the pineapple added a tropical twist that was surprisingly harmonious. The Spider Pig roll was a true Maryland experience, showcasing local flavors in an innovative way. And the list goes on—the Tanker, Tropical Storm, Spicy Scallops, Dynamite, and Steak Fried Rice were all mouthwatering delights that left us craving more.

To top off the evening, we indulged in some expertly crafted cocktails. The Japanese Old Fashioned was a sophisticated blend that hit all the right notes, while the White Marlin was a refreshing 10/10. The Whiskey Sour was the perfect drink to round off a truly unforgettable meal.

What really made our experience at Yuzu Sushi exceptional was our server, Berke. He was incredibly friendly and brought an amazing energy to the evening. Berke was not only helpful but also went above and beyond in making great recommendations, ensuring that we had the best of what the menu had to offer. His expertise didn’t stop at the food—the mocktails he crafted were just as impressive, refreshing, and perfectly tailored to our tastes. His attentiveness and enthusiasm truly elevated our visit, making the entire experience a 10/10.

We did not have a reservation, but they seated us at a bar seat facing the window. We got lucky because the place seemed pretty full. People watching is fun, so I didn’t mind. Our waitress was nice. The two rolls we ordered were delicious. The Riptide was yummy though I did not taste jalopenos, the lump crab meat on top was a nice touch. The Oceanside was also yummy, hard to eat with chopsticks because it fell apart, but delicious all the same. Will definitely go back!

Stumbled upon Yuzu today and will absolutely be back! Some of the freshest sushi I’ve had since Vegas or California!! Only been open just over a month. The place is adorable and very clean. Service was great and the sushi was AMAZING. Highly recommend.

There’s not one single miss here. Ordered multiple times now & figured I’d leave a review. I’ve ordered something different every time, and left more than satisfied each occasion. Presentation, taste, service are EXCELLENT! Give this place a shot if you’re in the area, won’t be disappointed! (Get the Tsunami roll, TRUST)

I’m a sushi snob. The place took forever….over an hour for nigiri and two special rolls. Had to ask for refills on water. I did not get my hot green tea like I asked. The seaweed salad was ok-nothing special or tasteful about it. The filling in the special roll is somewhat meager lacking in substance. For $20 on a special roll, I did expect more. The bathroom was so dimly lit, you can’t see. It was my daughter’s choice to go here but I don’t think I’d return.

Unfortunately the worst service I’ve had in years. They were fairly busy when I walked in and stood just on the other side of the sushi bar waiting on a to go order. Johnny came out and pointed toward the door just waving his finger at me. Apparently he wanted me to stand somewhere else. No words were spoken by him to me just “shoo” basically. Once he figured out which one my order was 30 minutes behind schedule he slapped those rolls together. Falling apart and very unappealing to look at. They did taste good though. Definitely a hard pass for me and friends in the future. Buyer beware.

Best ginger dressing around no question. Sushi was also great – Riptide, Ocean Side, Boardwalk especially. Chef Yanni definitely knows his sushi and great vibe will definitely be back!

Not authentic sushi AT ALL. As a former sushi restaurant employee, this was hands down the most overpriced and WORST “sushi” I’ve ever eaten over the past 20 years at multiple restaurants.

1. Our order took much longer than expected. NBD because it was a fairly big order.
2. We paid $15 for romaine tops (the worst part of the lettuce) and a few raw carrot chunks, cucumber slices, and about 6 avocado slices.
3. The sushi rice was not seasoned AT ALL.
4. The “miso soup” had ZERO tofu or kombu. It tasted like watered down chicken broth and definitely NOT miso. Could’ve been a urine sample for all we know.
5. The edamame was way overcooked and had no salt on it.
6. The rolls were unevenly cut and rolled poorly – many fell apart.
7. Fillings were skimpy in the sushi rolls.
8. $25 Fried rice was overcooked and underseasoned on a huge bed of rice that contained what seemed like a previously frozen mixed vegetable mix.

Have absolutely nothing positive to contribute at all. Avoid at all costs!!!
