I visited Yuzu King for the first time tonight and it was fantastic! The workers were all very polite and helpful, and the interior was clean and well decorated. All the food I got was fresh and delicious, especially for take out. Can’t wait to visit again, and highly recommend!!

This is only my boyfriend and I’s second time, but after the first we knew we needed to come back… and we’re going to KEEP coming back!
The lady in the glasses that served us both times (I don’t know her name I’m sorry!) is SO SWEET!
By far some of the best customer service we’ve had in a while!
The sushi is also so good!
Average price for a roll is $13-$15 which is also good bc one roll will get you full and have other good selections of Japanese cuisine!
I’m so glad we came here on a whim one day.
Definitely our new favorite sushi spot!!

Delicious! I am a stingy with my 5’s, so understand that. Ok, please know sushi was delicious! Fresh and quite yummy. Our chicken fried rice that we got to-go was very bland. Multiple people tried it and agreed. Rice was also a bit undercooked.

My wife and I went out for a date night and had so much a wonderful experience here. We started off with salmon and Yuzu sauce which had a citrus and spice undertone. I got the jasmine tea which was unsweet with a floral body and my wife got the house green tea that had a rich earthy flavor. We split the Maki combo and got the triple spicy, Alaska, and sweet potato rolls. Of them all, the sweet potato roll was my favorite, it had a very nice surprise flavor that was sweet and crisp. I got the Yuzu roll and my wife got the winter roll. Come to find out, all the sauces (with the exception of only the eel) are all made in house…and wow can you tell, they were all excellent. Even the salad has a house made citrus dressing that was refreshing. Not only was the staff beyond helpful and friendly but the restaurant was very well kept, the bathrooms were clean, and the chef was very generous. 10 of of 10 recommend, we will absolutely be back!! Thank you again for the amazing first experience here!!

Yuzu King is the definition of “don’t judge a book by its cover.” It’s small, quiet, and easy to miss — but once you try it, you’ll realize it’s some of the freshest, cleanest sushi in the Cleveland outskirts. Every roll is consistent, the fish is always top quality, and the staff are genuinely kind without ever feeling forced.
My boyfriend and I order takeout every other week, and it’s always solid. It’s never pretentious, never overhyped — just great food made by people who care.
If I could change one thing, I’d love to see the menu expand a bit. There are a few too many tempura and mango-based rolls in my personal opinion, but honestly, that’s a small complaint for a place that gets so much right.
Quiet, dependable, and seriously underrated — Yuzu King is the kind of spot you almost don’t want to share.

EDIT (1/2024): Yuzu King continue to impress with every meal. I must have eaten from this establishment hundreds of times by now and I have never been disappointed. There is no better or more reasonable sushi in the greater Cleveland area!

I have only eaten here twice so far but I plan to add it to my rotation whenever I get takeout. Their sushi is fresh and the selection is great. The fried rice is fantastic. This time they even threw in a free dessert, some tayaki. It was my first time trying it and I will certainly be getting it again. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you haven’t been here yet, do yourself a favor and give it a try!!!
