I am so lucky to live a couple of blocks away from this great (and somewhat not obvious spot)! Every time I stop by I sit by the bat and have very high quality nigiri, which is carefully prepared by the chef.
The decor and ambiance is not sexy or very mood setting + there is a big TV playing sports but I honestly don’t care since I come here for the sushi and they deliver every single time! In addition, their specials are sometimes rare in-season fish from Japan that I don’t get to taste often…
I highly recommend and am back here often.

We love Yuubi and get delivery from here at least once a month. Their 2-item bento boxes are the perfect mix of food and a great portion size. Salmon teriyaki and chicken katsu are some highlights. I haven’t dined in, but highly recommend for delivery!

This is a great neighborhood gem with a large sushi menu and full kitchen. The sushi is always good—especially the 501 and Warrior rolls—and the gyoza and karaage never disappoint. The service is what you would expect from a family-run neighborhood spot. Olivia is always friendly and remembers regulars’ orders. It deserves way more credit than some of the recent low reviews it’s been getting (especially from delivery drivers and the one dude who was mad about not getting chopsticks in his to-go order!)

Great low key neighborhood spot. You’ll never have to wait for a table. Olivia will take care of anything you need. I go for the sushi and it’s very good every time. They have a lot more than just sushi though. I also like that they have two TVs with sports. SF doesn’t really do sports but I do and so does Yuubi. Volume is off which I like so you can talk and enjoy yourselves.

This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in the city. The 3 types of Hokkaido Uni is so fresh and sweet. The Salmon Sashimi and Amaebi is always perfect and never fails to disappoint. My favorites are the Dragon Roll, Caterpillar Roll, and Mix Up roll. The Chicken Karaage is so crunchy, and overall I had a great experience at the restaurant. The customer service is immaculate, and there’s never a long wait. I celebrated my birthday here today, and they also cut the cake for us. This is a great place for all events with family and friends! If you’re in the city you definitely need to try this place out!

Driven by Yuubi for a while and decided to stop! We had a great experience here and will be back! Appetizers and side salads were pretty decent but wish we had a few more pieces of geso karaage to share! The wagyu and tuna tataki was tasty and worth another try the next time we are there. The rolls were nothing spectacular but standard as far as rolls go. My friend loved the chicken katsu dinner and felt it was perfectly fried for his taste. The poki salad had a lot of different fish in the bowl and was a tad over sauced but otherwise another ok dish. The fish in the Chirashi was good and fresh. We threw in a waffle for dessert since we were curious. It’s a tiny waffle so definitely not something to share.

My favorite sushi spot in the city. I was ordering from Yuubi for years before I even moved down the street. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and the sushi is consistently the best I’ve had in the city. We always bring friends here when they’re in town and couldn’t recommend it more.
