After a long 12-hour day at work, I stopped into Yu’s Maple Garden and it was exactly what I needed. The service was unbelievably fast and attentive from the moment I sat down.
My Diet Pepsi never ran out, which I always appreciate, and I could immediately tell who the owner was because she personally checked on me twice and even refilled my drink while the waiter was busy seating another guest. That kind of attention says a lot about how much they care about their customers.
Right after I ordered, my egg drop soup and egg roll came out piping hot and fresh. Then, the second I finished the last bite of my soup, my main dish arrived at the table. The timing was perfect.
Everything was hot, fresh, and served incredibly quickly without sacrificing quality. After such a long day, that level of hospitality and efficiency really stood out.
I’ll absolutely be coming back. If you’re looking for great food with fast, attentive service, this place is a gem.

This has been a great Chinese restaurant in Ogden for as long as I can remember. They used to be located on Washington at about 37th or 38th south. I’m not sure why they moved to Union Station. I like coming here, the food is always very good, and I like the train station vibe.

Hidden gem! We stopped by for dinner and I think I found a new favorite. Very generous portions and a great menu. The prices were great and affordable. We ordered dinner combinations for less than $12.00 a plate… which included soup or salad… we got both! The house dressing was so delicious, I was wishing they sold it by the bottle. The food was very fresh, and tasty. I couldn’t figure out why this place wasn’t packed with customers. If you are craving some delicious Asian food, be sure to stop by and give them your business.

I’ve been to this restaurant about five times now and also ordered takeout once, and every single experience has been excellent. The food is consistently delicious whether I’m dining in or taking it to go. One of my absolute favorites is the oolong tea—so flavorful and comforting!
Even though it’s about a 20-minute drive for me and I pass several other Chinese restaurants along the way, this is the one I keep coming back to. It’s absolutely worth the drive every time. everything I’ve ordered has been fresh, tasty, and exactly what I hoped for. Highly recommend!

I had such a wonderful experience at Maple Garden! The food was absolutely amazing every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. On top of that, Sherry made the visit even better. She was so kind, sweet, and attentive, making sure everything was just right. Her warm personality really stood out and made us feel so welcome. The overall visit was perfect from start to finish, and I can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend Maple Garden!

Maple Garden is a hidden gem in Ogden! The food is fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The owner, Sherry, might come across as reserved at first, but once you get to know her, you’ll see she truly cares about her customers and her restaurant. I appreciate the hard work she puts in, and I’m glad to support a local business that deserves more recognition. Highly recommend giving Maple Garden a try!

This is one of the only places I will eat meat at a Chinese restaurant. Most Chinese restaurants seem to use cheap, rubbery meat, both not Maple Garden! Their meat is high quality and cooked to perfection, with a crispy shell. The Szechwan chicken is amazing. It is similar to General Tsao’s in flavor, but better. It is marked as spicey, but isn’t spicey. I also love their fries wontons.
The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, and even has a fish tank and water wall.
The lunch combos are a great deal, but keep in mind that they are smaller portions than the dinner portions. I’ve included pictures of the Szechwan chicken and pork lo mein lunch specials.
I am so glad that Sherrie brought this back after her parents closed the original ones. They have the same great taste (and even chefs)! I also love that she recognizes us, knows our order, and enjoys seeing our family grow.
