The chicken balls were all dough…and a tiny piece of tough chicken. Unedible…will not return.
Garbage
I don’t remember the exact date, but I decided to give this place a second chance. Unfortunately, it was another disappointment. The General Tso’s chicken was a total letdown. The batter, or rather what was supposed to be the batter, was bland and not at all crispy—but that wasn’t even the biggest problem. The chicken itself was the worst part; I haven’t had such rubbery and overcooked chicken in a long time. The sauce was mediocre. That’s why I’m changing my rating from 2/5 to 1/5, as the portion sizes also don’t justify the price or quality. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place.
Original review:
I honestly don’t understand where the 4.5-star rating comes from. The food was very underwhelming. The noodles were seriously undercooked — not in an “al dente” way, but as if parts of them never even touched boiling water. The chicken was bland and lacked any depth of flavor, served in a sauce that tasted more like starchy water than anything else. On the bright side, the broccoli was cooked perfectly — tender with just the right bite. Unfortunately, that was the only highlight in what was otherwise a disappointing meal. I wouldn’t rush to come back.

We’re pretty surprised too! Do you remember what day you were here?
Where do I start!
Chicken balls… Amazing
Chicken fried rice… Amazing
Chicken chop suey… Amazing
Chicken Sue Guy…. The chicken part. Pretty good.
Egg rolls.. yum!
Wonton soup. Honestly one of the best I have had in a long time.
Lucy’s noodles. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!
Cons.
The gravy was a solid mass of wiggly jello. Once it was heated it became more jelloiee.
The best Chinese place in Tecumseh. It’s like the old Fongs, reincarnated. If you are truly looking for good Canadian Chinese food, this is it.
Would order again for sure
