Today my friend and I were craving a hot, comforting bowl of noodles, so we came to Yunnan restaurant in Rowland Heights. We ordered their signature rice noodles, a three-item combo, and a plate of fried tofu. Paired with their “soul sauce,” everything tasted amazing.
The broth was rich and flavorful, and the combination of fish slices, shrimp, and chicken was incredibly fresh and delicious.
The service was also very nice. The server even reheated our hot water for us when they noticed it was getting cool.
Highly recommend this Yunnan restaurant in Rowland Heights!

We had a fantastic lunch here. Food was amazing and super authentic. We ordered the Szechuan braised pork, eggplant in garlic sauce, stir-fry green beans and the Szechuan Dan Dan noodles. Everything tasted great but the Dan Dan noodles were especially good. Not too spicy but still had a bit of heat. The braised pork was also cooked perfectly. Atmosphere was nice and service quick so will be back next time we’re in the area for sure.

Incredible authentic Yunnan/Sichuan flavors! I ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Dry-Fried String Beans, Spicy Boiled Beef, Fish-Fragrant Eggplant, and a couple of cold appetizers — every dish was delicious.
The Kung Pao Chicken had the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and tangy, with tender chicken and crunchy peanuts. The Dry-Fried String Beans were super flavorful with that genuine wok aroma. The Spicy Boiled Beef was rich, aromatic, and perfectly numbing without being overwhelming. The Fish-Fragrant Eggplant was silky, fragrant, and packed with flavor — one of the best I’ve had.
Service was friendly, portions were generous, and the food came out fast. If you love real Sichuan/Yunnan food, this spot is absolutely worth visiting.

Went to the restaurant with a friend on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. We both ordered braised beef noodle soup dishes; it was flavorful and good with a decent amount of beef chunks. Both of us enjoyed it.

We ordered the string beans, cold rice noodles, and fried rice noodles. Everything tasted incredibly authentic. The rice noodles had an al dente texture that honestly reminded me of pasta — such a pleasant surprise. The fried noodles were next level: they use some kind of pickled vegetable that gives the dish an irresistible aroma and depth of flavor.
We’ve already gone back twice, and it’s consistently so good and delicious. On top of that, the service is super friendly, which makes the whole experience even better.

Even during a busy rush, this Del Taco visit felt surprisingly smooth. The team handled the fast pace with confidence plus great organization. My bean plus cheese burrito tasted incredibly fresh, easily the best I have had from this spot. The friendly service made the stop worthwhile, plus the food gave me a reason to return.
