Always drove by but never stopped in until today and will def be back. The tteokbokki is SO good – the texture of the rice cake is so fresh, chewy (mochi-like), and seasoned perfectly. Ive never had rice cakes this chewy and fresh in NJ/NY before!! So pleasantly surprised. I saw some reviews noting they only received half a boiled egg with their order – this is pretty standard when you order tteokbokki. It’s honestly more for garnishment and visuals. The spicy tuna kimbap and spicy pork kimbap was also delicious. Will def be back omg

Kids wanted to try this one and I can see why. A lot of younger kids here and apparently it’s popular amount the HS crowd. Doesn’t mean that it doesn’t cater to everyone but I wanted to see it for myself so here we go…..
Firstly, and I think very importantly, it’s easy on the wallet. Anytime that happens it’s a plus for me. Quality is also important but it’s a fine line between what a person can sacrifice in terms of quality FOR the more affordable price point. I’m glad to say it’s a good balance. Kimbop $5 rolls were great. $8 sandwiches… yes please. The menu gives you a variety of fresh items that are super wallet friendly and really tasty. I had the spam and egg and its was solid. The sandwich was excellent. I had the BELT, soo good. Impressive for a sandwich. They didn’t skimp on the bacon. And if you know deli vs Korean sandwiches… it’s hits different. IYKYK.
Also had the original Donkatsu which was substantial. Not as good as some other places I’ve had. The breading was excellent. The pork was thin, but I didn’t complain. Still satisfied my craving. Ramen was played up a bit and was fine.
Overall food was above par. Price was fantastic. And my boys and I left pretty happy. You can’t ask for more.

Was in the area and decided to try it out. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with kindness. Staff was attentive and sweet. On top of that, food was so good! I ordered the chicken katsu sando. Will be back and have already recommended to friends.

had a very good experience at yumsem! we got the shine muscat drink, ramen + donkatsu combo, and rose tteokbokki, which were all delicious and generous in portion (especially the donkatsu)! if you’re looking for korean street food, fun drinks, and a warm cafe-like ambience, this is the place to go.
