Ordered vegetable chow mein and was given vegetable soup with a side of fried wonton strips, which the restaurant claimed were the “noodles served separately.” That is factually incorrect. Chow mein is made with soft, stir-fried noodles, not crispy soup toppings. This felt like either a mistake that wasn’t owned or an attempt to pass off a substitute without explanation. If you’re expecting actual chow mein, be aware that you may not receive what you order, and the response when questioned was dismissive rather than corrective.

Wow … that is the worst “chinese food” I have ever had. Sweet n sour pork consists of tiny little pieces of pork and huge amounts of nasty batter. It is unedible and I give it to my dog and he didn’t like it much either. Shrimp fried rice had almost no shrimp. $43 in the garbage

In the past I’ve only gotten Wonton Soup to go from Yummy Yummy, after trying several other places nearby didn’t measure up, and it was always perfect. Tonight I decided to order something different AND have it delivered. I was craving Roast Pork Lo Mein, Roast Pork Fried Rice and a Pork Egg Roll, so I went to their website from my cell. I didn’t have to deal with downloading an app, ordering was a breeze! I gave specific instructions to call me when they arrived at my building so I could buzz them in, and gave them directions to my apartment. Since our landlords fired the Concierge a few years back, getting food delivered to our apartment door has been a nightmare and a near non-occurrence. I was called by the Yummy Yummy delivery person, I buzzed the front door to let them in, and they were literally at my apartment door around 25 minutes after I placed my order. The gentleman was VERY nice, the food was HOT, VERY generous portions and… DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend Yummy Yummy, if I could give 10 starts I would!

The first time I ate here it was fine… A second time a complete change…Sweet and sour shrimp were disgusting And consisted of ninety five percent batter. The shrimp fried rice had five pieces of shrimp in a quart.

Food tasted no different than any other Chinese spot(no complaints there) but the person who picked up the phone spoke NO ENGLISH AT ALL which made it extremely difficult to understand my order and my address. The driver got lost and took about an hour to find my home(no exaggeration) then he gave me the wrong price for the order, charging me 20 dollars over the account price, he stop picking up my calls soon after, and when I got inside to look at the order only half was delivered. Worst delivery I EVER had from anywhere I ever ordered from!!!

So I had the general tso’s chicken, it was pretty good food I thought. The one critique I would have, I think they need to change the oil they fry things in. The chicken tasted like it had a hint of fish to it?? And to me because it is a crispy chicken it makes me think that they haven’t changed their oil. Other than that everything was good.
