My order was hot and tasty. It tasted so salty that I could only eat a couple of folk full. The egg rolls were perfectly cooked, not greasy and the vegetables were crunchy and fresh. Since it was my first time there. I would give it another try.

It was a crazy busy Friday night, but the owners/workers were moving like lightning. We got mu shu pork and they didn’t charge us for bonus sauce or wraps.

Yummy Wok is (as far as I know) the only place in the area that does Northern Chinese doughy dumplings, and they are wonderful. Rich and savory filling, garlic-soy-ginger-chive-vinegar dumplings sauce perfectly balanced, dough springy and chewy and comfort-food thick (and not tough or gluey, just worked exactly right). This dish is my food equivalent of a weighted blanket: heavy enough to settle and ground the body and mind, but also so flavorful that it cheers up the spirit. Highly recommend!

We just moved to town and decided to try Yummy Wok for dinner. Being born and raised in NJ, I grew up around some of the best local Chinese food — so I can be a little picky when trying new places! Luckily, I don’t have to look any further. This is our new go-to spot. The hot and sour soup was perfect, and the vegetable lo mein was fresh and flavorful. My husband loved his wonton soup and Hunan beef. Overall, great experience — we’ll definitely be back!

Um no .. what you see here is what owner said was all white meat in my Chicken Fried rice.

The restaurant is tucked away on a side street in Norfolk’s historic Ghent area. Stopped in based on a recommendation from a coworker and ordered the sesame chicken combo. It was pretty flavorful and fresh tasting, but the dish did not stand out from all of the other restaurants of the same cuisine. The price was right and the staff friendly. A special thanks though for being open Christmas Eve night and showing the love to my crew and I who had no choice of being off tonight.

Tried the general TSO and the spicy beef. Both came with nice portions, hot and tasty. Also the service is pretty quick.
The last time I was complaining about there being only 6 shrimp in the rice and shrimp. Also the beef tasted funky but not anymore.

Eaten here regularly whilst living in Ghent (and would happily detour to, as well (update: have detoured and will do again!). Great tasting food and always well looked after with quick friendly service.
