So I’m from Georgia and I believe everything is now better in the south including the Chinese. The lady was rude and pushy and the food quality was a 3/10 at best. Probably still in business because there is not much in the town.

This is our closest Chinese option in the area and we order every month or two. I have lived in some amazing culinary cities in my pre-Vermont life and so I know the food from Yummy Wok is not exactly a revelation. However, the quality of the cooking seems to have improved over the last year. Nice appetizers, a good amount of veggies in most things, but does err on the side of too much sauce on the entrees. All in all, though, decent Chinese food and at a good price.
Edited 8/26 — I just wanted to edit this to say that the cooking from these guys seems to get better and better each time we order! The sauces seem to have more flavor and the ample fresh veggies are wonderful. Whatever you’re doing, keep it up! 🙂

By far the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. The shrimp in the fried rice were not cleaned, I ended up eating a bite of food that was so spicy it was inedible and hurt my stomach. The fried chicken wings were coated in corn starch which made the chicken more slimy than spicy. Do not, under any circumstance, eat at this restaurant. It was one of the worst experiences in my life.

Really solid American style Chinese takeout. Everything was fresh hot crispy even after the half hour drive home. Good comfort food at a good price point, and it’s wonderful having a restaurant opened past 7:00 in the area. Will definitely be going back.

I don’t know who’s writing these bad reviews but I don’t know what they’re talking about. I never noticed the smell of cat urine. But It has been years since I dined in. I used to get takeout pretty often when they were open. The food has always been good to me. The combination plates are a lot of food for a little money. It can be expensive but it depends on how you order.

But the food is great!! So here’s the deal…yes, the decor and ambiance suck! But the food is really authentic!! Crispy home made Spring Rolls, home made dumplings, home made noodles in the low mein…tasty and real!! So hold your nose or order take-out…either way you’ll have great authentic Chinese food!

It’s pretty good take out. It’s not my favorite, but it’s one of the best I’ve found in the area. The restaurant does have a weird smell, but I think that’s the building, there are apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The food had always been really good.

I eat here regularly. The food is usually decent, but they’re inconsistent and every few visits the rice, chicken wings, or bbq spareribs are awful. Also today it stank like stale cigarettes. I still eat here, but I’ve learned to temper my expectation.
Update: Despite getting horrible food last time I went back. I ordered rice and spare ribs. I walked bc it’s half mile or so. I got half way home and they called to tell me they packed two rice accidentally. I did not bother waking back.
TLDR; they just can’t get it right. It’s decent half the time and inedible or incorrect the rest of the time. This was the last time for me. Spend your dollars elsewhere.
