My first Thai experience, I had no idea what to order. My young waitress was wonderful and friendly. She asked my taste preferences and recommended a couple different choices and mentioned they are the most requested. I chose the Massaman Curry with pork. She asked my level of spicy I prefer. I requested Medium spicy. It was delicious. Portion was more than I could eat so taking it home for dinner later. Very much recommend !!!

Impressed by this place. Great food that tastes much better than the Thai places around Utah valley. The flavors are much better and it’s obvious they care about your experience here. Great service, they brought us watermelon when we ordered, and gave the kids all popsicles after we ate! Very kid friendly too!

It’s located in an area (Payson historic main) that can be a bit hard to find good parking but it is a beautiful area. The atmosphere inside isn’t anything special but the food is great.

Egg rolls were average, pad Thai was great, Khao Soi was great, massaman was good, pad kra pao was good, the others said the Thai wings were good, and the yellow curry was good. Overall I would get the Khao Soi and pad Thai again for sure and try the green curry or pineapple fried rice next time. We will be back.

I was disappointed with this restaurant. They offer a quality product. The food tasted great and they have a good variety to choose from on the menu. Yet, it took forever to get seated, place an order, get my food, and then pay for it. Plus, I really struggle with restaurants that do not offer fountain drinks. They only offer drinks from a can. Oh, well. Overall, not to impressed.

One of the Most Authentic Thai Restaurants in Salt Lake City
As someone born and raised in Asia and deeply familiar with the diverse flavors of Asian cuisine—especially Chinese food—I can confidently say that this is one of the most authentic Thai dining experiences you’ll find in and around Salt Lake City.
The flavors are bold, balanced, and genuinely reminiscent of what you’d find in Thailand. From the perfectly spiced curries to the aromatic stir-fries, every dish feels thoughtfully prepared with traditional techniques and ingredients. You can tell this isn’t watered-down or westernized Thai food—it’s the real deal.

If you’re someone who appreciates the true depth and complexity of Thai cuisine, or if you’re simply looking for an authentic culinary experience, this place is an absolute must-visit.

My first time here. The cook/server was extremely pleasant and easy to talk with. As I asked if the Yellow Curry spiciness, the couple explained there wasn’t allot, but was kind enough to give me some coconut milk with it to calm it if needed. My order was yellow curry chicken, Drunken noodles with pork, and the Yummy Thai combo with shrimp, fresh rolls, wontons, and chicken Satay skewers. The food was great, tasty, fresh and delicious.
Def will return!!

We were hungry on our trip north, so we decided to stop based on the Google reviews.
I’m so glad we did!
We were greated and offered a table immediately. Our server made sure all questions/concerns were adressed, and placed our order.
The food was excellent! I had drunken noodles with tofu and my mate went for the pad thai with chicken. We both cleaned our plates!
The Thai iced tea is awesome!
We’ll be back!

YUMMY THAI is a great option if you’re craving something flavorful and different. I’ve eaten here a few times, and the food has always been fresh and well seasoned. The menu has a good variety, and you can adjust spice levels to your liking. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, making it easy to enjoy your meal. Service has been friendly and attentive. It’s a nice change from the usual dining options in the area and a place I’m happy to return to.

Exceptional service from everyone involved, and delicious food. I have an allergy to wheat protein, and the chef had a great understanding of what ingredients were wheat/gluten-free. The massaman curry was very rich in flavor, and nothing in it was too mushy or too firm. Very toothsome.

Family run business with authentic flavors. Being vegetarians, we had good options. Tried green and red curry followed by sticky mango rice. Both curries were yummy with balanced flavors. Highly recommend this place. Thai ice tea was ok. If it was less sweet, then it would have been amazing. Overall, great place to visit in a cute downtown
