We are visiting town for a wedding. We decided to stop and grab some food from here to take back to the hotel. We ordered pork shumai, crab Rangoon, ramen, and chicken and shrimp lo mein. None of it was good in our opinion. There were only 2 pieces of shrimp in the lo mein and the flavor was just lacking. It was better when I added the dipping sauce from the shumai. The shumai were somehow both undercooked and over cooked. The wonton was not cooked through and the top was very dry and crunchy. The crab Rangoon were more like cream cheese Rangoon. There was no crab flavor at all. We couldn’t even eat the ramen. The noodles were so overcooked they ended up making my husband sick. The broth had okay flavor, but it was very muted. The chashu was so thinly sliced that it was shredding apart.
On the plus side, our food was ready when we arrived. They also put pieces of cardboard between the meals to help hold them steady so they wouldn’t spill. The dipping sauces for the appetizers was also good. I just don’t feel like we really got our money’s worth with this one.

My favorite restaurant in Middle TN! I’ve had a lot of good sushi here, but the menu actually has a pretty decent spread of Japanese foods. I like to get the chicken katsu, onigiri, and spicy salmon rolls. The staff have always been nice, and this is always a place I look forward to eating at with my girlfriend

For the price at lunch, this place is a go-to. I tried the 3 rolls for $12, a specialty roll $12, the steak hibachi lunch $12 (i think), and the steam pork bun $4. If you like simple sushi and want to stay on a budget, this is your place to go. Everything was good. Nothing too phenomenal. Atmosphere was welcoming. I especially liked that there was a comedy show that I could watch if I was dining alone or needed something to break the silence instead of the overdone “Asian melodies” you normally hear. All staff was attentive and kept things CLEAN.

Smyrna TN has a surprising collection of food and restaurants. Yummy Poki is one of the top in that list. While it as a large selection of sushi, hibachi, and ramen, what of course stands out are the poke bowls. We had the poke signature and the rainbow salmon. We got larges. The bowls were filling, fresh deliciousness. I ordered my menu online and it was fast and easy. The food was ready within 20 minutes of my order submission. We really enjoyed Yummy Poki and we’re going to be back to try some other options on the menu!
