This restaurant just opened around mid Jan 2026 (next to the subways and foodland) and I went to give it a try. I’ve tried about 5 dishes so far and everything I had was good. It’s a very good Chinese take-out place in Wahiawa.
My favorite so far: (Feb 4 UPDATE)
1) Beef chow fun (I tried this again and there is the wok hei flavor. This might be my favorite dish here so far!!!)
And some other dish I loved.
– salt and pepper dishes!!
– roast pork and char sui!! (Roast pork was crispy and char siu had a wonderful flavor while being tender. Roast pork was much better the 2nd time I had, and I appreciate them letting me know they made a bad batch and didn’t get the flavor right one day and told me to come tomorrow for a better one). I enjoy eating this with either pork with cabbage dish or a choy sum dish.
– dry pot chicken
– mapo tofu
– custom beef dish (beef with soft tofu and scallion)
Very good hospitality, thank you!!!

Today, I passed by the newly opened Yummy Kitchen while shopping at Foodland. The interior decoration was very cozy, and the prices were affordable. The food was delicious and inexpensive. The freshly fried French fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside; I couldn’t stop eating them while they were hot. The staff had excellent service attitude and even gave me free fried dumplings. They also have a score card where you can get a free meal after 10 stamps. I will definitely come back next time. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband wanted to snack on fries and I heard yummy kitchen had good ones so he stopped by to pick up a nighttime snack for us. The fries were crispy, hot and really good. Salted perfectly and they gave lots of mini ketchup cups as well. We are looking forward to ordering full meals next time so stay tuned!

The food was really good! We got the gau gee, black pepper chicken, beef chow fun, fried rice and orange chicken. Everything was hot and tasted fresh. My only tip is to have the orange chicken be a little more crispy and more saucey.

It’s Wahiawā. You won’t find good “Chinese” takeout easily. This place is brand new, and it seems to be run by a husband and wife team, or maybe just two people.
We ordered wings, curry noodles, salt and pepper shrimp, and orange chicken. The noodles were flavorful and well seasoned. The shrimp were jumbo, shell on, and the shells were crunchy. The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The orange chicken was tangy, not too sweet, and didn’t taste artificial.
Overall, the cost to portion to flavor ratio was amazing. If you know Wahiawā, you know the options are slim.
