We both ordered the hibachi chicken meal which comes with soup and salad. We both agreed that the soup had an overpowering soy sauce taste, therefore we didn’t eat it. The salad was fresh and actually didn’t taste bad however the dressing was super sweet compared to other places. Our main course came out super fresh and hot, the chicken was super tender and had a decent flavor however it didn’t taste like you would expect chicken to taste from a Japanese restaurant, it actually had more of a sweet flavor to it. The rice was plain white rice that had been reheated with very little flavor put into, there were chunks of rice that were still stuck together and very much still white with no seasoning, it didn’t appear to be fried rice at all. The rice also didn’t have the usual additives such as egg or onion, there was nothing in it just very little flavoring and that’s it. All in all it was ok but not somewhere you should go if you are expecting traditional Japanese food flavors. We also ordered the Fried Spicy Cal sushi roll which to me was the best part of the entire meal. I would go back but only if I just wanted a sushi roll.

If you like Japanese food, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a quiet little spot in the middle of town to enjoy some authentic Japanese cuisine. There’s a sign out front that says “Under new management.” I can’t speak on how it was before, but I can tell you this place is a little hidden gem now. The food is melt in your mouth delicious, and the waiter is very professional and attentive. A+

Amazing food. The portions are enormous. You can’t beat this place. They are extremely kind and the food is great. They give you your moneys worth. The staff are friendly. The food is hot and fresh. The restaurant is extremely clean. We enjoyed it so much! We will definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Must-Try Spot Alert! We stopped by Yummy Japan Hibachi Kitchen and let me tell you, it was fantastic! The portions are generous and absolutely worth every penny. We dined in and immediately felt so welcomed, the vibe is warm, cozy, and they make you feel right at home.
Our server was amazing, he was so attentive and was bringing things out before we even had to ask! Hands down service was top-tier. And the food? Delicious! Everything came out hot and fast, and every bite hit the spot. We’re from Lexington but we genuinely enjoyed the entire experience and are already planning our next visit.

Tried for the first time for a late dinner. They have limited menu, but it has the most popular Hibachi dishes you would expect. The lady running the front of the house was very welcoming even though we came in an hour before closing. It’s table service, not a cook in front of you place. Everything we had from the lobster rangoons to the hibachi meals seemed very fresh and came out hot. We enjoyed our meal and will be back.

Third time I’ve came here and been told 20 mins and waited an hour and an half. Along with another customer standing here who was told 20 mins and waited an hour. And they’re legit not busy at all with 3 people in the kitchen working….. can’t make it make sense at all. If I hadn’t already paid for the order , I would have walked out after waiting 20 mins before coming in and 15 in the business. But third time is not a charm bcuz every time it’s been this way. I will never order here again

Dined in with some family and had a great experience. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had the steak and chicken hibachi and it did not disappoint. The service was fast and the servers were friendly. I appreciate the big smiles and attentiveness!
