Absolutely delicious! Authentic Chinese and Sichuan flavors, generous portions, and great value for money. The spicy grilled fish and chilli wontons are must-tries. Staff are friendly and service is quick, even late at night. Simple setup but amazing food — a real hidden gem in Hobart!

What a ‘memorable’ dining experience. We checked in at 10:30 PM and were told it was perfectly fine, only to have the waiter showcase his truly remarkable efficiency in asking for the bill every five minutes. I didn’t realize my face screamed ‘dine and dash’ so loudly that it made the staff this anxious. If you’re that desperate to close up shop, maybe just put a ‘Closed’ sign on the door instead of pretending to welcome guests just to ruin their appetite. Truly regretted choosing this place.

We had dinner Sunday night and ordered this dish as less spicy. However, it turned out very watery and lacked flavor, and didn’t taste like how it usually does when we’ve had it before.
We understand reducing spice, but unfortunately this one had no taste at all. Just wanted to share the feedback so it can be improved.
Thanks

A pleasant little Chinese restaurant. The food was nice but not extraordinary. This said, the serving sizes were generous. We liked it.

The food was good overall, we got the mongolian beef and the green beans with pork mince. The mongolian beef sauce / texture was a bit thick for my taste. The portions were sized well.
Very grateful the restaurant is open late and friendly staff!

Hidden gem in Hobart cbd
**Absolutely Delectable!**
We kicked things off with a sensational spicy blue swimmer crab that was a flavor explosion! Packed to the brim with vibrant veggies, it arrived in a grand bowl that was both impressive and a fantastic deal. Plus, they were so thoughtful to offer a cozy little portion of noodles for our baby—what a delightful touch!
Will surely visit again during our stay in Hobart

Ordered the Mongolian beef, and the satay chicken spicy, was really tasty not the cheapest has quieter a but of veggies would of been better with a bit more protein. The sauce was quiet thick make it heavy.

Great food, enjoyed it very much. Great potion size as well. We got garlic fried pork and spicy squid tentacles. The food was served reasonably fast as well.

Best and most authentic Sze chuan Chinese restaurant in Tasmania. Visited from Perth and tried a few restaurants here and find this the best so far.

I used to really enjoy coming here and was genuinely excited to return after a while, but unfortunately this visit was very disappointing. The food quality seems to have gone downhill significantly. Most dishes were excessively oily and lacked flavour. The sambal eggplant was too greasy, the Mongolian beef was bland and tasteless, and even the fried rice had very little flavour. Overall, it wasn’t the experience I remembered and did not live up to my expectations.
