If you’re craving bold flavors and generous portions, Yummy House in Albany, Oregon lives up to its name and then some. The Szechwan Beef was chef’s kiss—tender slices with just the right amount of heat and that addictive savory kick. You know it’s good when the spice hits you and you still keep going for more.

The Chicken Lo Mein was a whole other level—loaded with juicy chicken, perfectly chewy noodles, and veggies that still had that fresh crunch. Every bite felt like comfort food with a little flair.

The staff was friendly and the service was quick, even during lunch. Cozy atmosphere, clean tables, and the food came out hot and fresh. Definitely adding this place to my go-to list for takeout and sit-down meals.

If you’re in Albany and want something flavorful, satisfying, and reasonably priced—Yummy House hits the spot.

If you haven’t tried Yummy House in Albany Oregon you’re missing out. For the best experience I would recommend dining in. When we ordered our food for dine in and it was prepared quickly and you can even hear them in the kitchen working hard to prepare your meals. When we were served our meals they were piping hot and full of flavor. I enjoyed the #9 which is Kung po chicken, Mar Far chicken and fried rice and my wife had Beef with Broccoli, both were excellent.

I would buy this again!
Meal 1

I just finished another wonderful meal at Yummy House. This time I tried the Sezhauan Beef with Fried Rice.
It was a very sizeable portion with lots of meat, vegetables and wonderful flavor.

I would buy this again!

Yummy House.

First off let me just say when food was picked up they were busy, to go orders lined up, and behind on pickup time. Which I thought was good! Busy is good right? Especially on a busy night like Valentine’s Day. Understandable as I work in food service as well. Until the food came home. We opened up the boxes and were instantly disappointed.
The General Tso’s chicken smelled funky, looked funky and taste was bad. No sesame or greens or garnish at all. My boyfriend refused to eat it and he’s not a picky eater.
The hot and sour soup was the worst I’ve had. No bamboo shoots, soup was brown, cold and there was an unknown bubbly film inside the styrofoam cup.
The pork fried rice was decent, until we got to the pork. Which looked dangerously pale grey instead of BBQ pork red.
The almond chicken subgum was frozen bagged veggies with a watery soup sauce. No good.
We had to air fry the spring rolls, crab puffs and fried shrimp because they were underdone and soggy. Still couldn’t salvage.
The red sauce for the fried shrimp was basically watered down ketchup.
The steamed riced smelled like dish soap. We didn’t even try it.

All in all we ended up paying $55 for the meal plus tip.
Which all ended up in the garbage. After craving Chinese food for days I’m pretty sure this did the trick. I won’t be eating Chinese for a while.
I’m not saying this to bash the company, they were working hard to keep up on orders which I respect. I just want to make others aware of our experience.
Overall 1/10.

We are now both actively fighting food poisoning. Buyers and foodies beware of this place.

Such a delightful little spot. The atmosphere is so cozy, the couple working was so sweet and delightful. I got the sweet and sour shrimp and got such a generous helping of sweet and sour sauce. The sweet and sour chicken was also extremely tasty. Definitely recommend

They excel at what they do, which is mid-century American-Chinese style comfort food. I’ve had negative experiences at their competitors, and so it is extra nice to have a wonderfully clean, tasty, affordable and pleasant experience. Thank you!

Have always had a great time here wether I’m eating in or dinning out. The food is always great and the lady at the front seems to always be in a great mood. Can’t say enough for this little place. Good prices for the amount of food you get. It is my favorite Chinese food place in Albany

Yummy house has been a family favorite for the last decade. We have come several times a year and is our favorite Chinese restaurant in the Albany Corvallis area. A classic ma and Pa restaurant where they are very considerate and nice. The food is also delicious most of the time we do take out especially during these trying times. In the photographs you can see my orange chicken crab puffs and their pork fried rice. I always leave satisfied at yummy house.

Small but the food is very good and the people are very nice. The prices are reasonable, too. Wish we lived closer.

Very cheaply made. Tea watered down. No cream. Bbq pork was regular pork. The red sauce with it was just ketchup. Pork fried rice had a tiny piece of egg and a couple tiny pieces of regular chicken. The food is cheaply priced tho so that was nice and it tasted good for the most part.

Looks like they are permanently closed. Looking through the window things are all packed up. Too bad. I liked their offerings.
