Now THIS is a great dim sum place! Although there aren’t any carts being pushed out like at Panda King in Gretna, all of the food was still fresh and tasty. Service was quick with our orders. The inside was clean and had enough seating, in contrast to Dian Xin in New Orleans. My mom and I tried about 8 of their dim sum options. All of them were really good, but I’d personally recommend their Crispy Taro Dumpling with Pork & Shrimp ($5.99), Shrimp Dumplings with Scallops ($8.95), and Salted Egg Buns ($6.99). For the quality of the dishes, I’d say it’s worth trying. With pun intended, Yummy House in Kenner is YUMMY!
*I do want to note that their dim sum pricing is located on their dim sum sheet instead of the menu, as they base it on sizing. That can be a bit confusing, so I do want to let you guys know that.

There aren’t many places that offer dim sum in Louisiana, so to be candid my standards were not exactly expecting something spectacular. That’s it, this is possibly some of the best dim sum I’ve ever had. It was incredibly fast, reasonably priced, and most importantly a perfectly balanced. If you are looking for some delicious dim sum, I would especially recommend here. My family drove an hour and a half to get here and we were absolutely delighted and we honestly do intend to come back again.

This order was placed through Uber eats. I do know that the entre I ordered is way better fresh, but it sounded really good at the moment
1. General Tso’s Chicken w/ fried rice and 1 egg roll
2. 1 order of egg rolls (2)
3. Lemonade
-The egg rolls were pretty good warm a nd crunchy
-The fried rice was decent but lacking on egg
-the lemonade was pretty perfect ( not too sweet and a little tart)
-the Gen Tso’s Chicken had a decent flavor but not really spicy
Overall, I enjoyed it for the most part. I wish I could have visited the restaurant, but wasn’t able to. Hopefully next time I’ll stop in

Wow I didn’t expect this. Most place was closed on holiday so we gave it a try after reading some positive reviews. Many other customers were having traditional dimsum.
Shrimp dumplings were good and wonton soup was heavenly!
We order lunch special package that came with fried rice and egg roll.
Fluffiest fried rice made to order.
Chicken with broccoli and shrimp w veggies were tasty .

The food is really good. My family and kids love to go there and get some dim sum. The staff are very attentive and helpful. I would have to say they have one of the best dim sum around the Kenner/New Orleans/Jefferson.

Food are mixed. They taste good when not over salted. Server brought a dish to us that we did not order. Most important, their bill/check was composed totally wrong. First, gratuity was added without my consent (maybe table of 5 automatically added gratuity). Order was about $106, it is $117 after tax. The automatic gratuity was calculated based on the total including tax, which is wrong because who is paying tip on tax! Secondly, suggested tip chart on the check will possibly end up with more charge if I did not pay attention. If I picked the third option, a $106 order would became a $165 total charge! Why are gratuity/tip listed TWICE, purposely?

The most authentic Chinese food I’ve had down here in Louisiana. Having grown up eating home cooked Chinese food and eating in NYCs Chinatown restaurants, the food here hits the bar. Only complaint was that as soon as we sat down, my initial feeling was… Gross plastic disposable table ‘cloth’, noticed the chopsticks, plates, and were oily. That’s why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Orange was alright but not as good as sweet and sour chicken last visit. Beef and broccoli was really good. Love the egg fried rice. Egg rolls are excellent. Crab Rangoon is stuffed full of yumminess. Can’t miss with the egg drop soup either.

Upon arrival at MSY Airport, I was craving for dim sum and stumbled upon this restaurant located approximately 10 minutes away from the rental car facility. They offer dim sum and a la carte selections; however, the dim sum selections were somewhat limited compared to other larger dim sum restaurants. The restaurant was clean and my server was attentive.
