This was our first time here and honestly the best one we’ve been to since moving to Mississippi. The food was fresh and well seasoned. The staff was great. And on top of our refills the entire time. I went with my husband, two teens, and one 8 year old and no one complained. That’s a win for us! We’ll be back for sure.

If you want a Chinese buffet in New Albany, there are literally no other options. Small restaurant that could definitely use a remodel on the inside. We went right after they opened for lunch, so the food was fresh, but very basic and nothing special. It definitely wasn’t the best but the only option in town. The staff seems very nice and keeps your drinks filled. The price was a little high for no more than we ate and the small size of the buffet.

I went today to get two plates of food and filled up both plates, I got in my car and opened up one plate and was eating some of it when I noticed a piece of fried chicken had a roach in the breading. I returned it and they gave me a refund but still disappointed because I expected a clean hygienic Resteraunt.

Some food was cold and soggy, some things looked like they had been out for hours. Other foods seemed fresh like they had just been put out. We saw sushi in the pictures but there wasn’t any.

As far as Chinese buffets go it’s pretty basic. Small, family run BUFFET. All the regular/popular items, and they do serve crab legs… usually. Due to the cost of the crab legs currently, they are not offering crab legs on the buffet. But, they have a great fruit, dessert and ICE CREAM DIPPING STATION! (8)
THE RESTAURANT ITSELF IS VERY LOW KEY. NONDESCRIPT, BOOTHS AND TABLES, BUT NOTHING FANCY. Could use an update,/remodel, but who can afford that nowadays… especially since the cost of the food is Soo low… Now, as prices keep going up, they haven’t raised their prices, so, you know, that comes outta their profits… Usually, small batches, keeps it hot and fresh, but that also means, you might have to wait for something… Or, JUST ask!
BEST PART FOR ME, IS THE WOMAN WHO WORKS THERE… THERE, WORKING VERY HARD, EVERY TIME WE’VE BEEN. What’s EVEN BETTER, IS THAT SHE IS FRIENDLY. ATTENTIVE, ALWAYS A SMILE, AND SHE KNOWS WHAT IT MEANS TO PROVIDE SERVICE. IN STARK CONTRAST TO THE TYPICAL EMOTIONLESS, AMBIVALENCE OF MOST OF THE OTHER CHINESE RESTAURANTS, SHE IS POLITE, AND FRIENDLY.
WE RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, NOT BECAUSE ITS A JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE QUALITY FOOD, BUT BECAUSE ITS GOOD, AFFORDABLE, AND GREAT SERVICE. Others bussed tables, and they worked well together.

2023: Great food, love the buffet. Owners are nice people and must practice good service from what I seen. I’ve been eating out here for years and I recommend it to everyone who likes Chinese food. Hope to continue coming back here for years to come. 100! out of 5 stars if I could!!
