We ordered all deep fried lunch. Shrimp, calamari and oysters. The all items were large. It came with 2 dipping sauces that were good too. And fries. It was our first time eating there. Service wash good, we think we’ll go back for a more “sea food”experience . We saw several orders of crab legs go out to customers. Everyone seemed to be enjoying them.

Overall it’s a pretty decent seafood boil, with very reasonable prices and friendly service. The hush puppies are great and the chicken wings are really good too. My only criticism is that the establishment is a bit dated and the bathrooms could definitely use a remodel!

Recommendations: shrimp and craw dad boil. 1 lb each. Ask for a plate of rice to mix in the juice at the bottom!

Food: The food is great. I’ve had one bad experience with king crab not being cooked right but the manager remedied it fast.

Service: We are always seated promptly. We get our drinks fast and our order is received timely.

Building: The place is pretty big.

Bathroom: are clean.

Parking: Plenty of parking.

Notes: no notes.

Hit the thumbs up and give me a follow. I’m trying to be relevant or something. It’s my only bragging rights.

Let me just start this review off with, save your money!! Cosmetically, the building is in need of repair. Pretty much everything outside has serious weather damage that is not being tended to. The bathrooms aren’t cleaned on a regular basis as the urinals had caked on debris. The environment was basic. Our server was very polite and helpful when we needed a hand navigating the weird menu. But the food………For the price I paid one would most definitely expect fresh food, yet it was all frozen, including the corn. They basically just heat up a bunch of frozen seafood and vegetables and charge you as if you were actually eating somewhere on a beach at a 5 star restaurant in paradise. I could’ve prepared what my entire table had in the comfort of my own home with fresh ingredients at a fraction of the price!! $146 for 2 adults and one child. And we did our best to keep some of the cost down as that wasn’t half as bad as the check could’ve been. Not happy at all! I don’t understand why they call it yummy crab when everything was well overcooked? If you consider this quality food, please have your taste buds checked because I am from the coastal and southern states and this isn’t even close to authentic by any stretch of the imagination! Normally I’m not this mean, but I feel seriously ripped off!! Definitely not going back to this generic gimmick! ✌

This place is a hidden gem. Even though it’s not hidden but right off of Kimberly. Our waiter was very attentive and welcoming. The food was amazing! I had always looked for a place that would serve one of my favorite plates, crab legs. The combination rice was also great. Not too expensive either considering everything has gone up. We will definitely be going back.

2 stars only because the waitress was so nice.. she was attentive and friendly.

As far the food.. eeeehhh. I ordered the 1 lb snow crab leg, and a cheese stick appetizer. The cheese sticks were like out of a box heated up, served with a little tub of roma marinara that you get at Kwik Star. Literally still served in the plastic tub that you peel the top back on..
When I ordered the snow crabs she asked me what flavoring I wanted and it was a little confused because normally I just get steamed crab legs, anyway I picked the garlic and Old Bay, and assumed that meant I would get like a little cup of butter to dip my legs in if I need it. I really should have questioned more.. because what you actually get served is a clear plastic bag with I got to say 4 cups of butter in it, and your crab legs, two small red potatoes, and the soggiest piece of corn you’ve ever seen in your life. I wish I was exaggerating when I said four cups of butter.. It might even be an understatement. It was an overwhelming amount. You cannot make out the taste of the crab because everything is just dripping in butter.. It honestly ruined it. I actually forgot there was supposed to be Old Bay in there All you taste is butter. The snow crab legs were also the tiniest legs I’ve ever seen. I’m pretty sure I actually got half a pound but paid for a full pound.

Did I mention, there’s a lot of butter

I was so excited to try Yummy Crab. I ordered the lobster tail and king crab and was unfortunately disappointed. For the price (bill was $140) I expected better, the King crab legs were small with not much meat inside, they seemed to be overcooked and frozen. The lobster tail was the same way- I’ve had good king crab legs and lobster tail and don’t mind paying that kind of $ for good quality seafood but Yummy Crab wasn’t it. They’re charging people fresh seafood prices and serving people frozen seafood out of a box. I most likely will not go back.

Dinner, Drama, and the Unexpected Elegance of Crab Leg Surgery.
Yummy Crab doesn’t try to fool you. From the outside, it looks exactly like what it is: a seafood joint, wedged between a Kwik Star, bitcoin ATM, and a radiation therapy center. You walk in expecting chaos, and you get it in a bag, with butter, spice, and plastic gloves.
The food? Overcooked for my taste. Cajun shrimp and sausage that felt more like a dare than a dish. Hushpuppies were the familiar, reliable friend in a chaotic boil. But let me be clear: this review isn’t about me.
This is about my niece, who approached her crab legs like a surgeon in a final exam. Gloves on. Scissors out. Crustaceans didn’t stand a chance. I’ve seen less precision in operating rooms and prison break scenes. I watched her extract claw meat with the determination of someone born for the blade or the morgue. If she doesn’t end up in medicine, she’s destined to be an elite assassin on Yellowstone: Midwest Division.
The whole thing had this strange cinematic energy like at any moment, Walton Goggins might slide into the booth beside us, whispering something cryptic:
“She was born for the shell, friend… but the world wasn’t ready.”
Service was slow, my second beer arrived after the carnage had ended, but the server was kind, clearly doing her best in a packed house. It’s hard to fault anyone when the table’s covered in spice-stained gloves and everyone’s smiling through the burn.
So no, it’s not fine dining. It’s messy. It’s loud. It’s expensive for Davenport.
But it gave my niece joy. And that, my friend, is five stars every time.

This was my first time having a seafood boil and I was not disappointed! I went with all the spice options mixed and wow, the flavors were amazing! We had the crawfish, blue crab, clams, mussels, and dungeness crab. Each option was delicious! I cannot wait to go back and try more of what they have to offer!
Also wanted to thank our server, Ty for doing such an amazing job! Being our first time, Ty was extremely helpful explaining the menu options, providing taste descriptions, and continually checking back to ensure we were enjoying our meal.

First time for lunch, took several long minutes just to be seated. wife & I had fried shrimp appetizer, tailipa & shrimp basket lunch specials. Everything was overcooked, fried too long. Server was friendly, but food delivery, followups & final bill was so slow, slow, slow. Given a choice between here & Red Lobster will go to Red Lobster.
