1st visit. Pricing is very fair. Large variety of items! Friendly staff. Place was packed! Little loud with all the people and sitting closer to the doors every time someone came in you got blasted with the cold air. Appetizers came out fast! Our food was also extremely quick. The meats were very well cooked. The noodles however were very under cooked and I couldn’t eat mine at all. Also they cook all the food on the same table at the same time, but they don’t keep your dish separate. By this I mean I ended up with octopus and Jalapenos in mine (both things I don’t like) and most of the scallops and green onions were missing. Also, the rice option goes into the bowl under your choices and noodles, not on the side. So make sure to choose accordingly. The rice was very well cooked and held together well! I’ll bet we come again and try a less busy time, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good food.

Fun restaurant with delicious bowls! We went on the first Saturday night after opening, and I’m glad we came early. It got really packed really fast and the build-your-own-bowl line got crazy long. We got a nice booth with a great view of the chefs making the bowls. The music was a bit loud but I think it works, especially with how busy it got. I ordered a normal build-your-own-bowl and my boyfriend daringly got the bottomless option. I packed my decent size bowl with zucchini, mushrooms, onions, and a pile of sliced beef. And I poured one cup of brown sauce and one cup of Mongolian sauce to go with it. I didn’t notice until later that I could have used little taster spoons to taste the sauces which is a great idea, as I’m not sure I really loved my sauce combo. The cooked bowl arrived at my table nice and hot with white rice underneath. Everything was delicious and seemed very fresh. My boyfriend enjoyed his first bowl and his second bowl, but it was honestly just too much food haha. The waitstaff were a little lackluster as it was difficult to get water refills and the second bowl for him, but I think it got much busier than they had anticipated. I’m super excited to come back and maybe try some of the different sauce options for my next bowl.

Service was faster than expected because it was pretty busy. I ordered the Godzilla roll 10/10, dumplings 10/10 and made my own bowl 7/10. This place is good! The only thing it’s missing is fresh garlic as an option at the stir fry bar. I feel like it would give the stir fry more flavor. The dumplings were a little cold but they were still really tasty!

Excellent food. Great service! It awesome to see a new restaurant like this in Rockford. My son asked while we were there, ‘Can we come back tomorrow?’ We will be back, just maybe, not tomorrow. Maybe the next day!

We arrived just as they were opening. We were politely asked to give them a few minutes to finish setting up. Everything was clean. All the food being set out looked and smelled fresh. Service was fast and friendly. Our bowls wound up big enough for two meals.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Reasonable pricing! You pay the lunch/dinner price for your yummy bowl and +$4 if you want to do the bottomless. You will get what you pay for! They bring you a smaller bowl so you can get up and make your own bowl and they bring it back to you in a bigger bowl so as long as it can fit and isn’t tumbling over, make sure you get what you want! The sushi is pretty good too! We got the shrimp/cucumber, the spicy crab, and California! My bowl I mixed the hibachi sauce and yum yum sauce and it’s super good! Also very great service, very attentive. Edit: you cannot take ayce stir fry bowl leftovers home!
