Best Jamaican food in Cincinnati! Service and food is excellent. My wife had steamed Red Snapper & I had Jerk Chicken. Both were outstanding. My wife is from Jamaica and she said this is the real deal. This will be a regular place for us from now on. 5 stars!!!!!

Somos La Raza Mas Pura Y El Mundo Lo Dice

It was a really long wait for the food, but believe me it is worth the wait and it tastes so fresh! They have some seats but this is mostly like a take out place. I got the Jerk chicken which comes with rice and peas and cabbage, and the Curry Goat. It smelled so good I forgot to take a picture of the food. And the flavor! Ohmygawd!!! All I can say is Thank you so much for existing. This place will not dissapoint you.

My baby suggested a Jamaican restaurant and we Google and both came up with this gem of a place. The food was outstanding. Absolutely delicious. It’s been more than a decade and since I ate authentic Jamaican and this did not disappoint. We ate in but had to find another place to use the restroom because they didn’t have public restrooms Aside from that it was a great experience. Can’t wait to eat the rest of my Goat Curry at work tomorrow.

Best Jamaican food in Cincy hands down!! My favorite is the Oxtail dinner with Rice & Peas and the Cabbage, it is BOMB! The Jerk Chicken in the large size is a really nice portion and so worth the price. The chicken is so tender it falls off the bone and has a smoked jerk flavor that is AMAZING. I could literally eat their food everyday! Because this isn’t a fast food restaurant and it’s cooked to order, the wait time can be a little longer than the typical, but it’s worth it! The staff is also really nice which is a plus.

I am visiting from out of town and would come back to Cincinnati for Yummi’s food. The beef patty was amazingly flaky, crisp, and moist. The rice and peas had a great coconut flavor. We ordered the oxtail, curry goat, beef patty, and plantains. Everything was excellent!
