Love Yumi in Sea Bright so had to check out the Red Bank location. We were able to sit outside and it added to the experience. The outdoor tables are a bit on the smaller side so be advised if your group of 4 plans on ordering a lot. Our server, Julie, was so kind and attentive. The food was great and so fresh, always presented beautifully. We had an amazing experience at both locations, Yumi has now become one of our family’s favorites!

Yumi Sushi in Red Bank is our families go-to spot for sushi, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently outstanding—every roll is crafted with precision, and the fish is always incredibly fresh. Whether it’s the King Salmon Sesame Onion, Bluefin Akami or the Rice Crispy Tuna, the flavors are vibrant and balanced, and the presentation is beautiful every time. The Toro Sesame is a must-try and if you’re feeling adventurous try the Botan-Ebi (deep fried shrimp heads).
What truly sets Yumi apart is the warmth of the staff. From the moment we walk in, we’re greeted like family. The servers are genuinely kind, attentive, and always happy to offer recommendations. Its the kind of place where you feel cared for, not just served. They treat my two boys so kindly and it’s very much appreciated.
We love the relaxed upstairs dining area and the BYOB policy, which makes it perfect for a casual night out or a special celebration. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, and sitting outside in nice weather adds a lovely touch to the experience.

My husband and I were really excited to try this location. We came on a busy Saturday night around 7 PM, and while we expected a bit of a wait, we were still looking forward to the experience. We were eventually seated upstairs in the BYOB section, but unfortunately things went downhill from there.
Our server brought wine glasses and then didn’t return to the table for over 30 minutes. By the time anyone came back, we had already poured and nearly finished our own wine with no check-in, no menus, and no acknowledgment. It left us feeling overlooked, especially since we could see nearby tables receiving water and starting to order their appetizers.
At that point, we decided this wasn’t the right experience for us and left. Another server did stop us on our way out and seemed genuinely disappointed to see us go, which we appreciated—but by then, we didn’t feel valued as customers.
We would love to give this place another try because the food looked excellent and the staff seemed overwhelmed rather than uncaring. Still, being busy shouldn’t mean completely losing sight of the tables upstairs. We hope our next visit is a better reflection of what this restaurant is capable of.

Iven was amazing — super friendly and very professional. His service made our lunch experience outstanding! Everything came out beautifully presented and tasted incredible. The UNI & CAVIAR SPOON was super fresh and flavorful — absolutely delicious. We also had the Spicy Tuna Rolls and KING SALMON with SESAME-ONION SAUCE, both were top-notch.
You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients here. The atmosphere was relaxed, and service was quick and attentive. Highly recommend Yumi Sushi if you’re looking for great food, great vibes, and professional service. We’ll definitely be coming back — ask for Iven, he’s the best! ✨

Iven was absolutely amazing! We had dinner at Yumi Sushi last night and everything was perfect. I ordered the Kuromaguro Ponzu and the King Salmon with Sesame-Onion Sauce — both were super fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Iven was so friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. His service really made the meal special. Highly recommend Yumi Sushi — can’t wait to come back!
