Casual restaurant serving bland Chinese food. It’s not the most flavorful food. Steamed rice was sort of mushy. The waitress seemed sleepy and disinterested. She was dragging her feet as she walked so much I thought she was wearing house shoes. She was wearing baggy sweat pants & sweat shirt- rather odd to be greeting customers and waiting on tables. I likely won’t return with so many other options to have delicious Chinese food and better customer service. The experience was not impressive by any means. Plenty of free parking was good. Restaurant appeared clean.

I’ve been eating here off and on for the last 7 years. Love how this is one of the few places that still offers the old school lunch special (entree, soup, egg roll) and you can’t beat the price. Service is decent and the food comes out quickly. Good place for a tasty, fast, and affordable lunch. No complaints.

First time at this restaurant, we did the general tsao and paid $3.50 extra for the full dinner which included soup, spring roll and bowl of rice. Very satisfying portion size and it was pretty tasty for an affordable price. Hot & sour soup was my favorite, loaded with with veggies! Chicken low mein was also very simple but flavourable and plenty of chicken pieces. I was really pleased with the food and will definitely consider doing catering from here and bringing friends and family here. 10/10 rating and staff were friendly and kind.

this is a spot for people looking for good quality / Katy Asian town without too many people around. No crazy light show inside. Just , a good ol dark spot to enjoy some fire ramen.

This is the second time we ordered the food. First one through Uber eats, and now dine in. This is very tasty food. We ordered the cheese puff, triple delight, Singaporean rice noodles (we chosed without curry), sweet and sour and wonton soup.

I didn’t expect to find such a delicious Chinese cafe just from typing “Chinese near me” on google maps. I read the reviews and it seemed that everyone that has come here had a good experience. All I have to say is WOW, no wonder they have great reviews. This Chinese cafe has blown any other Chinese cafe’s I’ve been to out of the water. This was by far the most fulfilling casual Chinese meal I’ve had ever. It was inexpensive but the it was full of flavor and it was made to order. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken lunch special with an egg roll and a side of fried rice. The chicken was crispy but soft and flavorful and the egg roll was so yummy and crispy, the rice was not dry and also had tons of flavor. I will definitely be visiting this place a lot more for my lunch since I work nearby and will be bringing some home for dinner. Trust me and the reviews, the place is delicious. Oh, and the staff is super friendly!!!!

Worst experience ever I called them for spicy chicken with vegetables and when I got there, I asked her if it was spicy or not. She went to the back and she said no it’s not spicy and that’s not the first time I told her young lady I asked you on the phone three or four times I make sure to be spicy and she start arguing. I did not tell her and this is not the first time it happens they mix up the order And they don’t even apologize for that.

Ordered online, food was pretty mid, very salty, nothing that sets it apart from every other Chinese takeout place. General tsos had no spice and was soggy, fried rice was as bland as it gets same with the egg drop soup.

This was my first time here and it was pretty good but not great. I ordered orange chicken and fried rice and kung poa chicken with white rice. My order also came with 2 wong tong soup and 2 egg rolls. The orange chicken was good but slightly tough at times but good in flavor a little dry on the inside as well. The fried rice was the biggest disappointment. It had no vegetables and was lacking in flavor. There are even burnt spots in the rice. At least it had egg. So I do not recommend the fried rice. Stick to the white rice, the white rice is pretty good. Way better then the fried rice. The kung pow chicken was good, lots of vegetables , chicken and peanuts, great flavor and slightly spicy. The wong tong soup was good as well as the egg roll. My total was 19$ and it was a lot of food and the value is there. Just wish for better fried rice

Let me just start by saying the food here is ALWAYS fantastic. We come here at least once a month and it never disappoints. We always start with an order of the Crab Rangoons, they are perfectly crispy and the filling is so creamy and delicious. The sweet and sour sauce they come with is the perfect dip.
For our mains, we got the General Tso’s Chicken(spicy, just how we like it!) and the Beef with Broccoli. The General Tso’s is the best in town—incredibly flavorful with that amazing sweet and spicy glaze on super crunchy chicken. The beef was so tender and the broccoli was fresh and cooked perfectly. The portions are huge! We always have enough for lunch the next day, which is a huge plus.

The service is fast and super friendly. The place is always busy and lively, which gives it a great energy. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, comfortable, and the food is the real deal. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get.

If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food, this might not be it, but if you want delicious, dependable, and satisfying American Chinese food, Yumi cafe is the absolute best. Highly recommend!
