Went over to grab a quick bite to eat for dinner. The guy at the register was super nice and gave us a few suggestions. The corn was fire!!! Sesame fries were similar to what I had before somewhere but still very good. The tacos were simple but delish. Will go back for the corn for sure!

The three tacos I had were FIRE!!! And those fries were sensational! Very seasoned. I spent about $20. Wish the meal came with a side instead of having to order the fries on the side, but nonetheless it was really good and filling.

The French fries were amazing! Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned just right. They had a great flavor without needing any extra sauce. Fresh, hot, and super satisfying. That’s it just really good fries!

Stopped by Saturday evening with my daughter and I tried the Chilli lime Shrimp Taco with slaw and crema and the Korean BBQ Chicken taco both on corn tortillas. These were the 2 that didn’t have any gluten ingredients. Both were flaborful, only problem was the tortillas weren’t cooked very much. Maybe it was steamed but that affected the taste and my rating. I’ll ask for the tortilla to be cooked more next time. Overall,Great visual Aesthetics inside, bright lighting, open seating, easy to order, open kitchen style. Customer service was so incredible. she was super friendly.

Sooo….I ordered takeout but let’s get into it!
1. I received a bowl although I said burrito but it was still pretty good. Definitely had higher expectations. They do use chicken breast with I like a lot!!! No shade to thighs but IJS.
2. The vibes, aesthetic, and outdoor seating area are fire . Can’t beat the location. You can eat, go shop at Publix, go to the bank, + grab a coffee or tea all in the same parking lot.
3. I plan on going back. Staff was super cool. Someone ordered wings and they looked amazing! I’ve also heard the fries are a must. Looking forward to trying other menu items.

My first experience was really pleasant from the moment I walked in the restaurant, the customer service was wonderful. They answered all any questions I had. They were friendly and kind. Their food was well garnished and delicious. It was authentic and rich in flavor. The restaurant was clean. The atmosphere was good, The prices were fair. The wait time was not long and you have the option to place your own order yourself. Great place definitely will be returning soon.

Verdict: Fantastic low key Asian Mexican fusion spot
Food: I really liked the chips & queso and the sesame fries!! The sesame fries surprised me with their flavor. The panko fish tacos were good as well
Service: You order with an iPad at the counter. Seamless and food came out fast. The people at the counter were helpful with regards to questions about the menu.
Price: Very fairly priced. I think each item was $5

Fusion cuisine is always a hit or miss for me. Here, it’s a bit of a miss. The concept is Asian tacos, burritos, rice bowls, and salads (with a few regional specials such as Nashville hot chicken). What seems to make it ‘Asian’ is the use of gochujang – a Korean fermented pepper paste – as the main sauce. I ordered three tacos – fried shrimp, fried fish, and the tofu – and found that it tasted exactly as I imagined, and not necessarily in the best way. The gochujang wasn’t really a nuanced or complex addition to the taco experience. In fact, the one I enjoyed best was the tofu taco, with large cubes of otherwise undressed tofu. As a blander protein (and a more traditional Asian ingredient), it benefitted hugely from the gochujang drizzle, while the other fried proteins were well-prepared yet somewhat incongruously matched with the fermented spice flavor. I found myself frequently wondering if I wouldn’t have liked it better with a salsa or hot sauce.
Another miss were the sesame fries. The fries are hot and beautifully crisped, but ruined by the unusual dressing of sesame oil, gochugaru (pepper) flakes, and an inescapable sprinkling of sugar. Yes, sugar. I’m a big naysayer when it comes to sweet flavors creeping into savory foods, and this felt like a case in point. If there had been a choice to have an undressed order of fries, I would’ve chosen it in an instant because they were otherwise well prepared.
All that said, they hit a home run with the Nashville hot chicken taco. I don’t eat meat so I can’t speak to these, but my typically un-opinionated husband absolutely raved about the flavor and texture of these.
Yumbii has a few good things going for it. The staff is warm and welcoming, greeting you as soon as you walk in. We appreciatively noticed our server taking the time to bus orders and take empty plates (even though the model seems to be more self-service). The space is inviting as well, with bright lights and plenty of seating. If lines ever get busy, they also offer a choice of order placement – either with a tablet or with a traditional server.

The food is usually really good but lately there are random dips in quality more often than not. On my latest visit the bread on my cheesesteak was noticeably stale and crumbly and the fries tasted old and had hardly any seasoning. Hoping the quality becomes more consistent so we can get back to weekly visits – we’ll try coming back in a few months.

This place is great. Not a lot of food in the area where you don’t have to sit down and have a waitress or waiter. I really like the sesame fries with the cheese sauce.. tacos are great. So is the burrito. He should price everything’s always fresh.
