The restaurant is operated by an older couple. The wife is the cook. We found this place 6 or 7 years ago when we were in this city for a sports event. She was serving authentic Chinese western region beef noodles then. We loved it so much that whenever we pass here, we would go. After Covid, they completely changed the menu. Since we loved her cooking so much we know it would be good whatever she offers. Sure enough, the chicken dish and tofu dish we had today are very good, authentic home cooked meals.

I’ve been coming here for years because the food and ingredients are always fresh, and the owners are always trying to do their best. And they won’t let me over tip! The woman that makes the food always makes me laugh, she lets me practice my long forgotten Chinese with her, and she’s given me fresh fruit from her garden when she’s brought too much. My wife and I always get the Spicy Shrimp. Be careful if you order it extra spicy.

Great food, with fresh-tasting ingredients and quality product. And the service and attentiveness by the owner was absolutely fantastic! She welcomed us in and accommodated us in every way. The food was excellent, and very tasty. Pot stickers were fantastic, so was the Hunan pork and the sweet and sour chicken. Absolutely wonderful dinner!

This was my first time at Yum Yummy and first time ever eating lo mein. I got the sweet chicken teriyaki lo mean – it is so delicious!!! I asked for no spice and she said she made it sweet for me and it is perfect. The nicest couple! The lady was so sweet! I will eat here again!

The food was made fresh to order so do expect that you’re going to wait a bit. The older gentleman and I had a language barrier which made it difficult for him to understand me and cause him to be frustrated. Again he’s quite old so it didn’t bother me much. The lady was sweet and she stepped in and explained the dishes to me and asked if I had any special requests or heat preferences. The only downside was the spoiled rangoon sauce. Other than that, you’re going to get good hot fresh food.

The owner of this place is off the chain crazy. I’m no doctor, but bipolar comes to mind. Food is adequate, but not worth the risk of walking in on one of her off days.
