This is my new favorite place. Everyone was great and the atmosphere was perfect. All the employees and the owner acted like family. They were very delightful and very helpful. We even ordered a turkey for Thanksgiving, the owner smokes them or will fry them. Limited time only. They have karaoke and darts BBQ and fish. If you like football they have the game playing or you can dock your boat and fresh fish! It’s just awesome, like I said, it is my new favorite place. Oh and don’t forget the best daiquiris I have tasted in a long time!

We always enjoy sitting outside on the patio overlooking the bay and enjoying good food and music. I swear, every time we come they are out of what I want to order (thats just my luck! ) but thats okay bc I end up trying something new and its always delicious. The service is always great too and we are usually greeted by the owner if hes outside.

We both had the royal reds while my husband added a 6pc smoked buffalo wings . The reds were tender and the butter sauce was delicious and easy to peel. The wait staff was kind and very attentive. The view is gorgeous. I would highly recommend a visit here.

I recently came across this establishment through a friend’s recommendation. I decided to try the catfish basket and was pleasantly surprised by the generous size of the filets. I couldn’t wait to dig in, but unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived. While the fish was fresh and crispy, it lacked flavor, even with the addition of hot sauce. On the plus side, the fries were excellent, well-seasoned and crispy.

First time visiting. This place is a hidden jewel. Was recommended by a friend. The crab cakes was recommended as well. My husband and I ordered the crab cakes, the Southwest egg rolls, the fried shrimp plate and the boiling pot with potatoes, corn and sausage. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was great if you don’t mind a few flies, but that’s only because of the location. It’s located on the water, but we enjoyed it. We were a bit over dressed. You could wear shorts and a t shirt to this place. We met Yul and he was very pleasant. He and my husband had a great conversation. We will be visiting again.

Wasn’t expecting much when I walked in the joint. It’s a small bar with a few tables, a short menu to boot. Man! They impressed the heck outta me and my son. Best boiled shrimp, taters and corn, and the coating on the fried shrimp and fish was unbelievable! Sweet tea was perfection! Food came out freshly cooked, hot and to perfection. Don’t sleep on Yul’s y’all!

Not trying to knock them but giving my personal opinion/ experience. Have been wanting to try this place for a long time. Finally went there yesterday and just left unimpressed with quality and taste of the food.
Went specifically to try their boiled seafood which yet advertise often. Got royal red shrimp and boiled blue crabs. Reds were OK. Not bad. But was really disappointed in the crabs. The crabs had little meat (I know blue crabs don’t have a lot of meat, but these were small on had less than usual). And they just didn’t have a good boil flavor like I personally like. There are plenty of seafood places to choose from around here so in my opinion the quality and taste has to bring people back. Maybe it was an off day.
I will say the service and staff were very friendly.

Yul’s Place is a gem! Their king crab is fresh and flavorful, and the fried pickles are crispy perfection.
The service is just as great—Nikki and the ladies are welcoming and attentive, making you feel right at home.
With a lively atmosphere and a beautiful waterfront location, it’s the perfect spot for a great meal. Can’t wait to go back!

Won’t go back! It took over 10 minutes after arriving to get a menu brought to us. After ordering, it took over 30 minutes to be told they were out of the ribs I ordered at which time I told the waitress to just bring me a burger (like I had ordered for my husband). His burger arrived 10 minutes later. 45 minutes after my husband had finished eating, I still had not received my burger although I asked the waitress to check on it, just make it to go and had already paid for our meal. Not worth the money… the burger was overcooked, tough and dry and I could get the same potato salad and baked beans at Sam’s. Extremely disappointed with what I was hoping to be a nice lunch!

As a local and lifetime gulf coaster, the food is absolutely phenomenal. Even my 9yo son said it was the best fried catfish he’s ever had. I had the boiled shrimp and sausage. So much flavor. The bartender/ server couldn’t have been nicer!
