My partner and I went out for date night and decided to try somewhere a bit farther from our house. We were incredibly impressed with Yukihana Sushi! The food was top notch! Super fresh and delicious. The waitress was personable, patient, and efficient. She had great insights into the menu and was more than willing to help us pick out food we loved. The portions were larger than we expected, but the leftovers were equally as fantastic. We will definitely be going back.

Sushi was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend the spicy tuna roll. Also the Tteok-bokki was packed with flavour and a good spice level.

We have been regular customers since their opening. Their food has been consistently so good for the last 2years. We have lived in Vancouver and Toronto but Yukihana is still one of the best. We recently had Japanese cuisine in Toronto but it didn’t match up to what we have in yukihana. Their sushi and rolls are always so fresh and are with quality ingredients, the bang bang chicken and udon noodle soup are also sooo yummy . Now we don’t really eat out anywhere else but yukihana. Hope they stay open for a long time! Photos are just a few from our many visits!

What a delightful surprise on my way back to Ottawa. It is actually really hard to find a sushi place of this quality and value in Ottawa. I did takeout but looking forward to coming back. The rolls and sushis were big and the quality was fresh. Asian couple preparing the food. Waitress was kind and courteous! Quite a gem in this area.

So.. they are super slow around lunch. Should have 2 servers. They don’t. So you get the privilege of waiting. Also.. their portions aren’t great (ie no ‘tuna’ roll, the best you can get is tuna/avocado or tataki). And even those seem stretched with filler, not fish(it’s not my fault you opened in a small town, don’t cheap out the customers) DONT get the Philadelphia roll! It usually is supposed to come with smoked salmon, but it’s a purely veg and cream cheese, which is usually advertised as such (ie cream cheese avocado roll). They are lucky I love saké, but honestly.. it’s not Great there. Maybe small town folk don’t realize cuz they are tucked away.. but this place would have gone under in 6 months in a larger city. Disappointing

It was our first visit, but it won’t be our last! Nice interior, super friendly staff, and great food for a reasonable price. We had tempura as starters, which were good. My wife liked the (bigger than expected) sushi rolls and my bulgogi udon bowl was outright delicious!
A nice touch was the pleasant atmosphere evoked by the gentle music. Washrooms were clean.

This place is amazing!! You’d never expect to get this level of quality in a small town, I was so overjoyed after the first bite. If you love sushi you need make a reservation and try Yukihana. You will not be disappointed! We had the combo sushi/sashimi platter and added the lobster roll. We left with full bellies and smiles from ear to ear. Very friendly service and atmosphere.
