Well we were craving some noodles and Asian cuisine and we looked up YuFeng and I am so glad we did. The staff was very attentive. The food was super tasty. I love my beef flat noodles, there is a reason this is a popular dish here. The egg drop soup is also really good, it was gone before I could take a picture. Our table was awfully quiet while eating. And the lo mein was a huge portion for my son and I can attest they are delicious for left overs the next day. They had a ton of to-go orders flying out the door while we were there. We will be back for more.

Fantastic food, excellent service and great atmosphere, what else can I say? We started with the BBQ pork bun – great! Then the moo shu pork which was the best we’ve had in years! Then I got the Singapore noodles and my husband got the flat noodles with chicken. Both were sooooo freaking good. We loved all of it! Oh, they also have huge portions. Don’t walk, run here for your next meal! We drive up from Converse for this place!

As someone who looks for authentic Chinese in every city I’ve been in and had some rather interesting experiences, I put this restaurant on par with those in Chicago and San Francisco china towns as well as the best of atlanta. The fish maw is on par (has to be requested in house) and the salt and pepper squid, bok choy, and garlic eggplant were amazing. We will be back. Staff was phenomenal, quiet ambiance, completely a gem you would never know was there just driving by.

Best Asian cuisine in San Antonio. This time we had the Mongolian beef, fried rice on the side and cheese wontons to start. The peach tea is so refreshing. We’ve been coming here for over 2 years and they are consistently delicious.

30 minute wait tonight for to go food. Orange chicken, lemon chicken, and chicken lo mein. Wait was ridiculous as there were only about 2 other tables seated. A few other to go orders as well went out. The wait was definitely not worth the wait. Food was a bit bland. Will probably not be back.

This is the best Chinese food I’ve found since being in the San Antonio area. The portions are generous and the flavor is outstanding. The people who work there are very kind. Lastly the bathroom is nice too.

As a Chinese immigrant with picky taste buds, I can guarantee you this place is truly a gem of an authentic Chinese restaurant.
The food here is outstanding—every dish is made fresh and packed with flavor. You can really taste the wok hei in the stir-fries, that smoky aroma that sets authentic Chinese cooking apart. The ingredients are always fresh, and each bite feels comforting and satisfying.
What makes this place even more special is the owner. They’re always so welcoming and friendly, which makes dining here feel personal and inviting. It’s the kind of hospitality that makes you want to keep coming back, not just for the food but for the warm atmosphere too.
From the crispy appetizers to the rich, savory mains, everything is super delicious. Yufeng has quickly become one of my favorite local spots, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone who loves authentic Chinese cuisine with heart and care behind it.

I’m really disappointed with our experience today at YuFeng Asian Cuisine. We placed an online order for pickup and arrived at the scheduled time, only to find out the food wasn’t ready. What made it worse was that no one could provide an ETA for when it would actually be done.
We were told they were short staffed, which I understand can happen — but that’s not an acceptable reason for an online ordering system to give inaccurate pickup times. If staffing is an issue, the estimated pickup window should reflect that. Customers plan their time around those estimates.
Unfortunately, we ended up waiting an additional hour after arriving for our food to be ready. During that time, there was no option offered to cancel the order or receive a refund — just an apology for the wait.
It’s a shame because the food is genuinely good. However, this isn’t the first time we’ve had an issue with pickup timing. The last time we ordered, the food also wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be — though the wait wasn’t nearly as long as this experience. Had today been similar to that prior experience, we probably would have returned again. After this, we won’t.

General Tso’s Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Crispy Spicy chicken, pork egg rolls, sweet corn soup, Deep fried Ribs, sea Food Lo Main and Twice cooked pork Belly.
Everything was amazing, original Chinese flavor. Everything was very fresh and made at the moment. The Bubble tea (frozen) was delicious.
Definitely one of the best Chinese place that I’ve been and ate. We’ll come back.
