This was an unexpected gem that we stumbled upon. The lovely Taiwanese lady who served us was enough for us to love this place, but the food was truly exceptional and some of the best Chinese food we have had. We started with chicken dumplings (aka potstickers) that were lightly fried to a perfect crispness without any hard edges. The cashew chicken was filled with zucchini, mushrooms and pineapple while being generous with both the chicken and the cashews. The mushu pork is a highlight, as it was so perfectly made without being soggy or greasy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hidden gem.

Wow! This place cooks some great tasting food. Don’t come here for the looks or decor, come for amazing Chinese food. The sesame chicken had lean, white meat, cooked perfectly… lightly battered and crispy. The volcano shrimp had just the right amount of heat with a wonderful flavor. I spooned up all of the sauce from both plates at the end. I would have preferred pork egg rolls over the spring rolls, but after my entree I forgot all about the appetizers. I really wish I lived closer to this restaurant, I would be here once a week. If you’re visiting Taos, stop by Yu Garden Asian Cuisine. If you live here, I envy you. Tell Rose Greg from Texas said hi.

We had house fried rice and family style tofu and they both are delicious. The fried rice is not oily at all and quite “refreshing”. The tofu is spicy but tolerable and pack lots of flavor.

The food was great the service was fine. I did not expect such a pleasant experience. They do not have a liquor license and I missed me Singh Tao.

Some of the better Chinese food I’ve had has been in little hole in the wall places like this. We don’t have access to good Chinese food where we live so we were pleased with our food. Good vegetable variety in the pan fried noodles, not just broccoli, carrots, and onions I’ve had from other restaurants. You can actually taste the chicken in the General Tso’s as it’s not overbattered. The cream cheese wontons were light and crispy. We enjoyed chatting with the lady who served us and she saw to our every need.

Tried this place due to good reviews. I had sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, hot and sour soup and California tempura roll with spicy salmon roll for $23 before tip. Considering the location, the food was good. Try this place out if you are in Taos and are in the mood for Chinese and/or sushi.

We enjoyed a family dinner at Yu Garden Asian Cusine in Taos, NM. The service was wonderful. Our waitress was helpful and friendly. We were quickly seated and ordered our food. Our food was quickly prepared and delicious. I ordered General Tzo’s chicken but failed to take a photo. Evryone else in my party of eight ordered variations of pan fried noodles.

Not the quality we were expecting. The food was bathed in sauce, making everything super soggy. The food did not resemble the pictures we saw on the website. We ordered curry shrimp and tofu with vegetables so not recommended items but maybe we can blame this on COVID like everything else this year.

This place is one of my family’s favorite place to eat. We love the owner. She is a great person, always goes to our table to make sure we satisfied with our order. We visit anywhere from several times a month to every few months from a neighboring town and she always remembers us!
